Guys' Weekend
My son and I came for a short getaway to the container cabin. What a neat setup! Josh has done a great job creating a comfortable yet rustic place to hang out. I wish we could have enjoyed some of the other amenities on the property, but the temps were in the single digits. Not great hiking weather. It can get quite cold in the cabin, though there is a wood stove and space heater to combat the frigid conditions. As other reviews mentioned, you'll be "roughing it" if you come to the container cabin. This isn't a Hampton Inn. But if you're looking for a unique adventure with a great host who is very responsive and treats you like family, I'd highly recommend it. I hope to come back again down the road! Handy farm
We had an amazing time at the farm in the cozy container cabin. We got to explore the farms walking trails which were some beautiful sites. Josh was an amazing host, anytime I messaged him he got right back with me, no waiting, Josh was very quick to fix an issue we had ( not a major issue ) he was on top of it. He gave us lots of information about the activities we were going to. We got to see deer on the walking trails and in the backyard of our cabin which was amazing. Everything about the farm I just loved. We are hoping to go back in the spring and I would definitely go back and stay on the farm. Thank you so much Josh. They Hesters.

Rustic Cabin/Container
Small Container 1982 era. Josh has made the interior feel like it is straight from the hills. The container is insulated and lined with beautiful repurposed wood. A space heater makes this small space quite comfortable with evening temps hitting the low 30's. The twin sized bed(s), horse tank shower, and bathroom sink are unique. There are many camping type people that I can think of that would enjoy this little spot to unwind and find peace.

Lovely property, Josh was a friendly, attentive host! Lots of thought went into the details inside the container cabin, making it a fun and unique experience! Comfortable twin beds. Would definitely recommend!

You must like camping to enjoy this adventure. The beds are comfortable. You need to cook on a gas burner. Love the piece and quiet. Josh the host was so good at making sure everything except food is provided. If you choose to do this - Have fun.

Amazing!
My wife and I finally had a chance to get a night away without children, and this property made the getaway perfect! The location is just far enough away from town to get the feeling of being away from it all, but close enough to get things when needed. Josh’s accommodations were amazing. We really enjoyed playing horse shoes and a little competitive frisbee golf. Wish we had more than just one night to stay there. We will definitely book again in the future, and even bring the whole family!

Neat and rustic
The single lane road on the way in gave me a bit of anxiety, but we didn't run into anyone going the other way. The host was accommodating and communicative. The cabin was as advertised. The water pump was loud, so we didn't bother with showers or much water usage - but it all seemed to work out. Might visit again - especially if he continues to expand and the newer ones are a bit more refined. Prototypes are always a bit rough.

Beautiful Cozy Cabin
We was on a family vacation. It was our first time to Kentucky. We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is so beautiful pictures don't do it justice. I loved finding all the little treasure in it. Josh did a wonderful job on it.The outside area was great. We enjoyed setting at dusk by the fire watching the family of deer.The sunrise was wonderful.We loved the hiking trails and the rolling hills.

Quiet and relaxing
This unique property affords all the relaxation of camping, without the hassle of pulling a trailer or worrying about a leaky tent. The charm and homey comfort of this converted c-can, made this one-of-a-kind experience enjoyable…. Would have liked to go hiking around the property but ran out of time. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet.

Ark Vacation
It was definitely an experience. You must like roughing it to enjoy it. The container was interesting, the beds were comfortable, and our two dogs loved being able to run free outside. All in all it was a pleasant experience, and Josh was very nice.

A Core Memory
We loved our stay on the farm. Everything was clean and cozy. My husband has been dying to go camping and we found this to be as close as possible that I would do. I don't know that I prepared for the closeness of our family of 4, but it was fun and an adventure...will definitely be a core memory, from the family of deer and wild turkeys that we would see to the stock tank shower with a bucket overhead. It was fun and I can definitely see why everyone gives raving reviews. Josh was always so nice and responsive.

Great Container Cabin
We were impressed at the work put into it. We enjoyed our stay and it was close to the Ark which is what we came to see. It is very quiet at the container cabin and it is rustic just as mentioned in the description. The grounds were kept up and clean. We didn't get a chance to walk the trails as it rained for a day or two. Josh was very helpful in staying in communication by text to see if we needed anything. We appreciate the opportunity to have visited. Thank you.

Relaxing and Quiet environment
Very beautiful property that was so nice to build an sit by the fire while watching the many lightning bugs. The cabin was very unuque with creative decor. We love camping and it was nice to have the cabin and not need to worry about pitching a tent. Visiting the Ark and creation Museum was close to the property. Thanks to Josh and I recommend this outdoor oasis. The sunrises were amazing.

Container with so much charm!
We really enjoyed our stay in the Container. It was so clean, wonderfully decorated and just the right amount of privacy. It's so unusual for us to sleep well when we travel, but we slept so well this trip! We enjoyed meeting Josh our host. He was quick to answer our messages and we enjoyed talking to him about his work he did on the container. I would highly recommend staying here!!

Cozy little cabin
This little cabin was so cozy! We all fell in love with it! The outside area was great! We had a constant breeze and had great weather. Josh and his family were very friendly and made us feel very welcome and Josh was just a text away if we needed anything! He even stocked snacks and ice in the barn you could purchase. It was nice to be able to get ice right there for our cooler coming home instead of driving to a store!! We definitely want to go back! My granddaughter didn't want to leave!! She wanted to give it a 10, but we only had 5 stars to choose! Thank you Josh, our stay couldn't have been better!

Cozy cabin with many amenities. Far enough away, the only noises were crickets and birds. Very comfortable for sleeping, was able to open the doors and get a breeze going through. A/C and heater were easily available but not needed.

Loved the uniqueness of the 'cabin'! It fit our needs very well as we came on a Thursday night and went to the ARK encounter the next day, it was very close, a quick drive away! Stayed another night and left Saturday morning. It was so peaceful, just what we needed!!

This is really unique. Sadly, the weather was bad when we were there, so we were unable to enjoy the fire pit and the farm.The container is tight, but what would you expect? We thought it was a fun adventure. I have never showered in a trough with the water coming out of a bucket. You need the right attitude. We enjoyed it.

As a seasoned camper, I found the converted shipping crate quite charming and cozy. It was well set up with everything we needed to prepare for the day, for sleeping and for meals. The property is quiet, and beautiful. Josh was on hand for us the few times that we needed to contact him. My Uncle and I had turns in every bed over our three nights, all were comfortable. Exactly what the owner said it was.

Anniversary Trip
We visited KY for our anniversary trip. We stay at this cabin while we visited the Ark and Creation Museum. We enjoyed the wood burning stove and the percolator! It was a fun experience to stay in the container cabin and Josh communicated well and helped answer our questions.

What a wonderful little vacation experience!
Farm is beautiful and peaceful. Josh was a fabulous host. He made sure we had everything we needed. Learning the history of the farm was an extra plus! As well as the friendly fur babies, Ollie the cat, Mattie, Dusty and Dash the dogs. Loved our time there. Hope to return one day.

Adventure lovers dream
I loved taking a brisk morning walk down to the pond/creek area. Heard many turkeys along the way. The home was an experience to stay in! The top bunk was a bit small for my 11&12 year old kids. I would recommend only one child in top bunk or plan on someone sleeping on the floor. Other than that, just as pictured!

Stayed two nights in Josh's renovated container cabin and wish we could have stayed longer. The peacefulness and beautify of the property was very relaxing. Josh's creativity is amazing! Loved everything he did with the cabin.Everythng we needed was there. We loved the tiny house livestyle! Josh was a super host, very friendly and communication was great! Cozy Get Away
The farm is stunning back country and quiet, along with the night sky, and morning sunrise. We had a little trouble with the hot water in the shower and there is no hot water in the sinks but, there is options for heating water on the stove. The lay out is good for the small area that is available in the container. Sleeping spaces are small but, comfortable. Great place for a couple's get away or family with small children. Lots of room outside to roam or play.

It was smaller than expected and the couch was something that they just threw together it was like seating on the floor. The hot water worked on and off. TV needs upgrade had to leave early because a death in the family and reached out to see if I could get a refund for the 1day and haven't heard from anyone that was 3 day ago
