The newest hotel in Downtown Memphis! The exciting new features at this Marriott hotel includes inviting spaces to work or …More
We try to always stay at the Peabody when in Memphis due to its location down town. We found the Madison to be even more enjoyable in almost every way. We will try to stay there on our next trip to Memphis for sure. Can't find anything we didn't like about it! Thank you for your hospitality. See you next time. Bob and Faris Phillips
Arrived at seven in the morning from Chicago, bags were stored and breakfast was offered. Early entry to room was promised and true to their word we received a call at eleven o clock to say our room was ready. In the evening burgers and beer and wine were served free of charge. This happens on a Monday ,Tuesday and Wednesday unknown to us.
Lovely welcome and felt very safe area for two female travellers. Short stroll to the centre of Nashville but right in the heart of all the recording studios area so felt like being in the heart of the place. Staff at front desk gave lots of advice and arranged taxis etc to Opry and other venues so took all the hassle out of our visit. More up market hotels right in the City but this one gave more personal service.
The Peabody had it all. We did not leave the hotel until check out. We loved shopping at Lansky 126, Relaxing at Gould's Spa, and dining at Capreccio Grill. Room service was great as and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The indoor pool and hot tub area was gorgeous. Perfect overnight getaway with my daughters 13 and 11.
We picked this location in hopes of being able to get around without a car, and everything worked out perfectly! We were walking distance of the Rock and Soul Museum, and caught a free shuttle there to Graceland. We then had the same shuttle take us to Sun Records and then back to the museum. Beale Street is only two blocks away, Revendouz Ribs and the Bon Ton Cafe are less than a block away. Tour buses were more than happy to pick us up in front of the hotel, and the hotel delivered us back to the airport! We could not have asked for more! The staff was so awesome and helpful, and you can't beat afternoon tea across the street at the Peabody bakery. We really need to go back again, because there just wasn't time to do everything.
Each and every single person I came into contact with seemed happy to not only be there but to assist. From the check-in and on the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. I so enjoyed seeing smiles.
