"The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. The breakfast was great, with lots of options, and the coffee was top-notch. We did not partake of the happy hour, but they had a nice selection of foods and could easily have made a meal of it.
We had a suite with two queen beds. The suite was very clean and spacious, overall. However, it is a tight fit with two queen beds, and the A/C unit is literally inches from the bed. This made for a very noisy and very cold night on that side of the room. We had to turn off the A/C in that room to get any sleep. I think it would be better with just a king bed.
The worst issue was a very musty smell, which compounded the discomfort. We reported this at the front desk when checking out.
Kudos to the management team! They actually followed up with a phone call, and sent a gift certificate as compensation for our difficult night. We were extremely impressed at that level of response, as we had not asked for compensation; we were advising that the A/C needed attention. It is rare these days to get the customer service that was provided at every interaction. We will definitely be back for a stay with Drury!"
