Dear Chelsea, thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to write a review. We are sorry that we could not live up to your expectations during your stay and for the poor sleeping experience due to warm rooms. Like most hotels in Oslo we do not have air conditioning, just a regular ventilation system that is not built for the warm weather we have experienced this month. Our ventilation system is running at full capacity day and night but with the warm temperatures outside the system is unable to cool down the rooms. Our inferior rooms are cooler than the ones facing the sun all day but with degrees close to 30 outside we are not able to bring down the inside temperature much more than a few degrees. Our reception staff should have refunded you the upgrade fee since you ended up downgrading to a standard room again and this will be followed up with them. We hope to welcome you back to a more comfortable sleeping experience with us, perhaps during the fall or spring. Kind regards,

Dear Duncan,Thank you for staying with us and for writing a short review. Location is important - and we might not be perfect for the purpose of your trip this time. Unfortunately we do not have a bell service at the hotel, this is commonly only offered at the five star properties in Norway. With the lovely summer weather we currently have in Oslo the temperature of the rooms are reflecting the temperature outside. Our property does not have air conditioning and it makes it difficult to cool down the property. We are aware that the rooms are warm but we try to manage it as good as possible by leaving key cards in their slot to leave the ventilation on full time, close the curtains in the rooms and offer fans for the rooms. Hope to welcome you back to a better experience next time.

I am so sorry that we did not meet your expectations during the stay at our hotel, and that you did not feel as safe as you should. We do try to regulate the visit in breakfast area with time slots, and we follow up the cue as good as we can - unfortunately not good enough the day you were here.
