This is a decent place for a single night stay while transiting. The only place to eat is the hotel restaurant. You may want to eat at the airport before going to the hotel is you want dining options for dinner. The buffet breakfast was very good. The shuttle is NOK 800 per person each way.

Even though it’s close to the airport driving, if you don’t have a car you have to take a bus that’s about 8USD per person. And you’d have to take it to the airport to catch a train to the city so the cost easily adds up.

Flight Cancellation Emergency Sleep
We booked the hotel about 30 minutes before checking in as our flight was cancelled after a very long delay. The queue at check in was enormous, but they have a self check in kiosk for bookings who have already paid so we were able to check in straight away which was dreamy. The room was spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were delightfully comfortable and the WiFi fast and reliable. We had an excellent nights sleep and fully enjoyed our night at the Clarion, even though it was completely not planned or expected.

i really love this hotel. i’m from and america and i can tell you that this hotel is much better than some in america. it’s quiet and easy to get to the airport. if i ever come back, i would recommend this hotel.

Great friendly check in guy, we were 1.5 hours early but were allowed into our room. Huge comfortable bed. Bath! And shower over. Functional basic and clean. Would definitely recommend for an airport hotel stop. Wifi. Shuttle bus comes round every 30 mins between hotels and airport terminal costing 80 NOK. Very large breakfast choice great coffee machine for espresso. We did not notice that tea and coffee facilities were available in reception until we were leaving so it would have been useful to have that info in the room, and we would have used it. Also there was no info about room service food, or the restaurant, or the mini bar costs. We did not necessarily want any of that but maybe we would have been tempted if the info was there. Overall very happy to have stayed here before our flight home.

This was VERY convenient to the Oslo Airport. Shuttle bus will cost $8.00 each. Worth it. The breakfast included is like nothing I have ever seen in the US. Chef takes orders for your meal. But if you are in a hurry there are no fewer than 6 buffet stations. Juices, vitamin shots, breakfast desserts. UNBELIEVABLE. The night we stayed was a Saturday and was $98. Your mileage may vary.

Excellent and hyper efficient airport hotel with excellent staff. My only advisory comment is that the otherwise excellent shuttle bus is not free at 80NOK per adult for the 7 min ride

The staff was fantastic. I had a couple requests and they were extremely helpful. Excellent breakfast and a very comfortable bed. Not one of those flimsy mattresses that are increasingly common.

Good airport hotel.
Easy to get to from airport, buses straight outside arrivals hall. Electronic board in arrivals informing you which number bus to catch. Rooms nice, restuarant is good and breakfast from 5am, very helpful if you have an early flight.

Decent budget hotel. Room was spartan, with chair but no desk and little storage space. I assume it's mainly for people flying out the next day, though, so it's not for long-term stays. Had a bathtub, which seems unusual in low-cost Norwegian hotels. Room was warm, but windows swung open, which helped a lot. If you want to be close to the airport but save a few dollars, a decent choice. Different bus options to the airport for 400-800 NOK.

This place was fine but you need a shuttle bus or taxi to get there, approximately $20 for either one for a couple. The hotel is a bit dark in the public areas. The only other negative was the stuffy room. The windows only open a crack and the temperature control in the bathroom didn’t seem to do anything so it was hot with no fan. If there was a control, there were no instructions on how to use it. The early-bird breakfast was excellent, and we also liked the outdoor patio.

The hotel is in very good condition. Conveniently located on a shuttle bus (you have to purchase tickets) route from the Airport, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes. The shuttle runs frequently from early morning to past midnight. The breakfast was superb, lots of variety and options for various tastes and diets. The only drawback is that the hotel does not have AC in the rooms. Typically, this may not be an issue, unless the weather is very warm. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience.

The hotel is very worn. It’s noisy. You can hear people in the next room and outside. Outlets are only on 1 side of the bed. No desk. It needs an overhaul.

Hotel Shuttered for Renovations
We showed up to our hotel only to find it shuttered with a sign saying our reservations had been moved next door to the Comfort Stay. We received no notifications prior to the change and the hotel we were moved to was a significant downgrade. We had chosen the original hotel based on available amenities including an on-site restaurant and the only food option at the new hotel was a dinner buffet of essentially heated up frozen food (taco meat lasagna and fish fillets) and potato salad, no dessert or drinks other than water for $30 USD per person. The shuttle to the airport was the only transportation option at $8 per person. The taxi service had a notification that there were significant delays. Overall, room was clean and we only needed the bed for the night before a 6 am flight out, but had we known the Clarion was shuttered, we would have stayed in Oslo and taken the train to the airport.

Fantastic in every aspect.
Absolutely fantastic. It was a last minute booking, owing to the air strike I had to spend 2 nights in Oslo, it was the first booking I found close to the airport and had no expectations. Check in was smooth friendly and efficient. The hotel is very nicely decorated, spotlessly clean. Rooms are all well appointed, not much in the area but it is an airport hotel so not a base for exploring but there are some lovely walks in quiet woodland landscapes just outside the hotel. I loved my stay there, the hotel is great, the staff are amazing but the real cherry on the cake is the food. The breakfast and dinner buffets blew me away. Visually amazing, the range of foods is incredible, the quality and quantity totally surpassed my expectations, the best food I have had for quite some time, and I went to the hotel from a luxury cruise ship! I want to go back for a weekend and spend the entire time in the restaurant. A massive well done and thank you to everybody at the hotel, you went way way above and beyond.

A stop over for one night. Easy to get to by public transport. Tea/coffee facilities in reception area. Room was fine for 1 night. Room was quite hot with opening window only option but then you have planes flying over and the noise from that. Breakfast there was a huge choice even for the 5am express breakfast.
