Great place to stay at for an early flight.
Great location 2 bus stops away from the airport with friendly staff. I left before breakfast but enjoyed the complimentary coffee!

Weird place but clean and close to airport.
This hotel is weird. It is actually a hospital and the hallways and rooms feel like a hospital. Don't expect a normal hotel experience.

Really valuable hotel. Out of 5 star. All staffs are very nice. I had to check out at 4AM. So I forgiven to have free breakfast. However, the staff provided us with breakfast boxes at 3AM.

Positive experience
Second stay was as positive experience as the first one. A good choice for anyone wishing to stay close to the airport. Only disappointment was the overpriced parking.

Nice place
Convenient location, close to the airport. Good value for money as far as the hotel is concerned. Very friendly and helpful staff. On the other hand the car parking rates are a total rip off.

Be aware!
This was so disappointing. First off this is not primarily a hotel but a hospital. The reception made it very clear. They basically have extra rooms that were designed for family members to stay and if not booked they will be sold as hotel rooms. The rooms, hallways looks, feels, smell like a hospital. The food is hospital food. The description and pictures on the Hotels.com website is completely misleading and cannot believe it is allowed. Our son was so excited to us the pool and when we arrived we were informed that pretty much 90% of the time it is reserved for patients. To top this, when we arrived we inquired about parking and reception told us we can park outside without issues. No instructions on where or cost to later receive a ~900KRN fine (almost 150CAD) for parking in the staff parking. Not to mention that there was almost no cars in the whole parking lot. Hotel or parking company refuse to help or take responsibility.

Comfortable stay, helpful staff
A good affordable hotel close to the Oslo airport. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious.

Great one night airport hotel. Felt a bit weird being in a hospital but there was nothing negative about our experience there. Room was good. Staff were terrific. I gave the location a medium rating as there is little right around the hotel but that is typically of no consequence if you just want a short stay airport hotel.

The hotel is on the top floor of the hospital. The S22 bus stop across the road and costs £6 each way (80 nok). Would happily stay again, but would prefer a double bed rather than a single bed. Good value.

Frustrating that there is no Airport Shuttle/bus that takes you directly to the LHL Sykehuset Hotell, you have to take one that takes you to the hotel across the highway so then you have to walk down and through a tunnel to reach this hotel - pretty inconvenient in the middle of snow storms! Also, there is no free shuttle, you have to buy a bus ticket. Everything else, however, was great. The room was huge and the staff was very nice and helpful. We arrived too late to eat at the restaurant but they have a snack shop open until late which had good paninis.

Good value for a short stay for the airport
It does say when booking that this is a hotel located in a hospital which was fine with me but may put some people off! Rooms and public areas very much has a hospital feel but also very clean and modern. I thought parking was free but this was chargable. Early flight so missed breakfast but a "grab box" was provided. Food available onsite but also some fast food options nearby. Location is near the motorway exit and 5mins drive to the airport but little else around. I cant see any other reason to stay other than to be close to the airport but if you can handle the "hospital" feel, its good value!

The rooms are elegant and clean; modern and comfortable. You get everything you need in a hotel that’s close to the airport, and at an incredibly reasonable price. What they have done here is an extremely original and effective concept. Is it a hotel or a hospital? - how about both. Although some travelers, particularly from the US, might be put off by the idea, I personally think it’s genius, and the way it has been executed by the LHL Sikehuset has been magnificent.

I was disappointed that in hotels.com the fact that this hotel is coupled with a hospital/clinic was not mentioned. The services available were not standard (no telephone in the room, no daily housekeeping with towel replacement, the breakfast was only opened from 0800 to 0900, there was a single bed in the room). I fed-back to hotels.com and hope the details have been corrected! Overall very disappointed with my stay

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to write a review. LHL Sykehuset actually means LHL Hospital, I was a bit surprised when I learned that Expedia had not translated this, as it is absolutetly our intention to tell people that we are in the same building. We do have daily housekeeping, but due to the environment, we do not change towels daily, unless this is specifically asked for. Expedia states that it is only one bed in the room. It is possible to put in one extra bed, but this is also on request. Best regards LHL Sykehuset Hotel
