I have stayed at this property many times, and it’s been great. I just got home from staying there. The first night I checked in, the fire alarm went off a few minutes after midnight. The announcement was that everyone needed to evacuate the building via the stairs. A fire drill, At midnight. This announcement went off for almost 30 minutes, and was very loud. I was outside with a lot of other people, and it was cold. Not once did a staff memeber of the hotel come out and talk to us, to tell us what was going on. Someone finally turned the alarm off. When we went back inside we passed a panel, that was open for anyone to touch, that had a fire drill button on it. We all assumed it must have been kids messing around, and someone hit it. No one understood, including me, why anyone but staff is the hotel would have access to this button. Just not a good experience the first night I was there. It also would have been nice if someone from the hotel came and gave some sort of direction. I felt bad for the people with small kids who had to evacuate this hotel at midnight. Yes, it said it was a drill. But what hotel does a fire drill at midnight? A lot of us were wondering if there was an actual fire
