Snowboard Trip
Great place to stay for a family or bigger group. Loved the property and its in an amazing location. Great entertainment for the kids. Looking forward to our next stay there.

Perfect location
Overall a very easy, great stay. House was clean and comfortable. Everything you need to cook for everyone. Lots of room, aswell as a wide range of movies, games and entertainment. Highly recommend!

Happy new year!
Great spot to welcome in the new year and easy access to Mtn, old Coach Rd and enjoyable wander into town along river. Property was great for the 10 of us.

Enjoyable and spacious
Great location, awesome house, Shaun the host was very helpful and accommodating. Drying room was very useful. Loved the games and dvd selection! Unusual to not have duvets and blankets, make sure you bring as downstairs is very cold. Bring pillows too as they were average.. But apart from that was a lovely property and would definitely stay again.

Awesome place
Group of mates meet up for a snow trip, the weather wasn’t on our side, but the house was amazing. The extra activities including the table tennis table helped considerably with the weather keeping us indoor. Fireplace got used big time; thanks a heap for the unlimited wood. Awesome weekend all In all. Highly recommend.

Ohakune Mountain House
We really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely location and fantastic views of the mountain. House was well equipped for our needs (cooking, entertainment etc). Very child friendly which was great. Shaun (owner/manager) was very helpful to us when we needed it and responded quickly. Only thing I would change is for the house to be warmer downstairs. It would be perfection then!

Nice and cozy house!
Shaun was very flexible and answered all of our questions quickly. Due to covid-19 wasn't easy to plan in advance for a weekend away but he was super willing to help us giving us options. Really recommend this place and this host. The house has everything you need, nice view and convenient location. Thanks Shaun!

Our Stay
Great location, toys and games for kids were fantastic. Teenagers had room to get away from the younger kids. Adults could socialize with plenty of room for kids to play. Beds were comfy, a few extra blanket's would have been good. Would definitely come again.

Cute but cold
We had an amazing time think you so much, you have a beautiful property with the most amazing view from upstairs. Only thing we found was down stairs was very cold even with the hallway heater on wouldnt bother adults but the kids definitely felt it. Thank you so much will definitely book here again.

Great house for families
Nice and roomy - great comms with owner - easy to access, well equipped. Nice and warm upstairs but very cold and difficult to heat downstairs bedroom area. We had two very cold days with snow outside and bedroom area ranged from 8 - 11 degrees on the wall thermostat (with the heater on). Other than the downstairs heating this house is a great option for two families, we enjoyed our stay and we would be keen to use it again. Thank you :)
