Room was not ready for until 1 1/2 hours after check-in time. Way too noisy at all times. Bed was terribly uncomfortable. Paid for ocean view and it was not ocean view.

My daughter and I spend 4 nights and 5 days in honor of her 16th birthday.. We did not get the ocean view room that we paid for. Our room smelled musty, and we were afraid that if we switch it would be worst . So we had to keep our balcony door cracked at nights. The mattress on the beds was very hard and uncomfortable. The beds needs new comforter or blankets. There were loud noises from other guests very early in the hallways early in the morning. The lady that represent Expedia mislead me with transportation back to the airport . We almost missed our departing flight. Aside from that the staff was very hospitable. I enjoyed the many activities, that the hotel offered We only did the buffet , and the food was good. The hotel is bigger than i anticipated, but we made the best of it.

When I arrived for check in at 3pm my room was not ready. I waited for 2 hours and a half to get into my room. My room was upgraded to a complimentary suite at check in, which I thought was great. When I finally was able to get in my room the suite was not what I requested which was a room with two beds, instead I was upgraded to a king size bed suite. I spoke to the supervisor and all the rooms was booked. I was offered to change rooms the next day, but I would have to check out at 11am and wait which would of turned out to be hours of waiting for a room. I ended up just keeping the suite. The other party ended up sleeping on the pull out couch. Very inconvenient. The reason for housekeeping in my opinion taking so long to clean the rooms is because I witness quite a few employees drinking beers from the rooms. Unprofessional. Some of the staff was rude, one night at dinner we asked our waitress for refills on beverages and he seemed annoyed sucked his teeth and rolled his eyes. The food was decent, but if your looking for Jamaican cuisines this place is not the place. A lot of the food is simple standard cuisines. I wouldn't stay at this resort again, next time I will chose an adult only hotel. This resort is more so for a party with families, and children. Despite all the craziness. I respectfully tipped.
