Every member of the staff was truly amazing and friendly. The beds were extremely soft and one of the mattresses was worn out and would fold in the middle. Also, the light on the balcony shown very brightly throughout the entire night and there was no way to turn it off. Unfortunately, that made it hard to get a good nights sleep

The room had a stove and fridge, it was more like a small appt with kitchen table and even a couch. Beds were confortable. The property is older, difficulty opening patio door to balcony. But overall the staff does a very good job of maintaining rooms clean. Parking was plentiful. But it was 40 minute walk from main attraction on the boardwalk. There is a trolley but it costs $5 each way, quite pricey. The beach at the hotel was nice and clean. About 2 miles away there is a shopping strip with a great cinema and restaurant that are a little better quality than on the boardwalk. If you have a car, you will enjoy the area. Room was more than we expected for the price.

We stayed here for the Oceans Calling Festival and it was perfect! Conveniently located to great breakfast spots and other dining options. Our room was very clean and cozy. Being there for a huge festival, I was nervous about noise and other stuff that come along with a big crowd but honestly, didn't hear a single noise from anyone. When we come back to Ocean City, we will certainly stay here again.

Great for a family getaway
Went to Ocean City for a long weekend with 2 other families. The hotel is located less than a block from the beach and boardwalk which was awesome. This is an older hotel and not a 4 star place, but we were not in the room that much so it was fine. The mattresses were pretty uncomfortable which was my biggest complaint. The restaurant attached to the hotel was wonderful!! We met and spoke with a local who goes there every morning for breakfast. Highly recommend it! No frills but adequate for our needs and location was perfect. Would definitely stay there again.

Very happy with our stay!
Ladies at the desk were super friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. Beds were just fine and pillows were extra nice but I always bring my own. It was pretty clean but could use more cleaning in the bathroom corners and baseboards. Kitchen floor is nasty looking. I thought it was chunks of dirt but seemed be gouges in the flooring. Needs to be replaced. All in all great location and worked out perfectly for my daughter and I for a short stay. I’d stay again.

Nice spot
Perfect location near boardwalk, beach. Close to several good places for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room had nice size fridge, microwave and small stove. Property needs an ice machine. Sun deck by pool had lots of seating and umbrellas. Pool could have been cleaner, very murky.

Overall great stay! Staff friendly. Quiet, close to beach. Parking good. Could use better kitchen supplies, but were told if we needed anything to ask. No ice machine is a bummer, but ice was available for purchase one block away or from their onsite restaurant. They also have delicious breakfast bagel sandwiches. :)

Took the Spinnaker for a spin
Our room was as expected. It’s not amazing but it’s cute and clean. We couldn’t hear our neighbors so that’s definitely a plus! Close to the boards and beach. Easy parking. Only one vehicle allowed in the lot but you could find a street spot if needed.

Good price for great accommodations
The check in staff were friendly and the house keeping were friendly and helpful. I got new towels every day, trash emptied and the bathroom cleaned. I enjoyed having a full kitchen, good view, and good price for location and accomodations. I will be coming back.

Affordable family hotel near beach
Friendly staff, great location. The kitchenette is sparsely equipped, but fine for sandwiches and re-heating leftovers. Loved having a balcony. The room was clean and comfortable. Our only real complaint was that the foldout sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. Our smaller son made it work, but my husband and I were miserable trying to sleep in it the first night. And smaller son will probably be larger next year, so that could be a show-stopper as his brother is too large to share a bed.

Thank you for the review. I am happy that you enjoyed the stay. If you will be using the sleep sofa we can double up the mattress and make it into a third bed. We offer this service for free. You will have to leave the sleep sofa out the entire stay as a bed because the double mattress makes it unfoldable. We are sorry you did not know about this service on your last trip. The spinnaker is very close to the ocean. You can view the ocean from your balcony. Staff are friendly. Having a small kitchen is a plus for our family with food allergies. We enjoyed our stay in the spinnaker.

I would definitely come back here. It is so so close to the beach. And the convenience of having a kitchenette it easy since I was traveling with kids. However property needs upgrade and will definitely be a plus

VERY CLOSE to the Boardwalk! This is the best thing about this hotel. Besides this it’s a basic hotel, a little old, a little run down, and has a small pool. It is OK, nothing really great about it besides the location.
