Excellent location in lovely surroundings
Beautiful wee room with a patio and small private garden in a lovely location just outside Oamaru. Highly recommended. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This place was perfect. Host was super friendly & it was lovely waking up amidst the gardens, sheep, and Highland Cows. We wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend this place! Thank you for everything! :)

Peaceful country retreat
Surrounded by flower gardens and rolling hills this beautiful little country retreat was the perfect base for my Father and I as we explored our family roots in Oamaru/Waitaki. A short drive into town, but it felt like our own little world. Accomodation was spotless, an extra room/cabin (Lamb Inn) was made available to us so plenty of space for a family & Jenny made us feel most welcome.

Lovely private spot and gorgeous garden. Adorable animals. Jenny is very friendly and accommodating. Cottage has everything you could possibly need and more. Close to town but very rural and idyllic.

Gem in the whitestone of Oamaru
Fantastic hosts, friendly, helpful and lovely to chat with. A beautiful spot for relaxing and chilling out. The Whitestone Cheese Company is in town and the colony of blue penguins are worth seeing! Highly recommend this highland homestead stay!

Fantastic!!
My husband and I stayed overnight for a weekend getaway and were really impressed! Lovely cold water and orange juice in the fridge. Everything was thought of even bread, spreads, milk, butter and even tomato sauce! Peaceful, beautifully laid out, warm and cozy and a lovely hostess! Cute animals galore had the best nights sleep in ages! Thank you for a wonderful refreshing weekend retreat!

Complete home for a long stay
This home had all the items needed for a long stay, wife was happy of all the kitchen items and I was happy about the barbeque.

Lovely Place to Have a Rest
Convenience of Oamaru but only 5 minutes away and your staying in a beautifully peaceful place. The accomodation was really comfortable. The decking was a nice place to sit and enjoy the peace and unwind. The A2O cycle track isn't too far away.

We had a lovely time. Beautiful location, great host, cabin was excellent. Very relaxing. We were able to feed the animals too which was a real highlight. Highly recommend.

Great farm stay that we all enjoyed.

Peaceful and relaxing
A very welcome end to our two week journey from Auckland. We had two peaceful and relaxing night's at Jenny and Andy's place, in warmth and comfort. The animals were a great bonus, as well as being able to have our dog stay too. Well done Jenny and Andy Cheers Brenda, Hamish and Kevin 8=)

What a lovely place to stay! The host was so welcoming and the cottage was spotless. Our little dogs loved seeing the lambs and we greatly enjoyed meeting the cows and alpacas. We will be back again

Such a gem of a place. Beautiful setting in the country but still close enough to town to drive in for activities and restaurants. The Highland cattle and Alpaca were gorgeous. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

This is such a nice place to stay.The host was lovely and there were some great touches. Fruit juice, cereals and fresh milk were provided free of charge, the gardens were lovely and the two dogs were made to feel welcome.

It was lovely quite beautiful garden and country outlook not far from town. Hosts were amazing
The Unit was what we wanted, had everything provided, breakfast was provided. The garden was amazing cottage and in full bloom and the Highland cattle were lovely too. This stunning property is in the country but close to town, which allows for the tranquil atmosphere & at the same allows for easy access to Oamaru. The unit is homely, comfortable & beautifully set up. The owners have a little gem here & we would absolutely recommend staying here if you are in this neck of the woods, you won’t be disappointed.

Loved this exceptional property, perfect for a relaxing getaway, with your own private deck & garden & some farm animal antics to keep you entertained! Only 5mins drive from town. Tranquil Farm Stay
An awesome place - rural, but close to town and a great base to explore the area. Accommodation is clean and tidy with everything you need for your stay. Lovely to see the farm animals - we were welcomed by 3 Pekin ducks. Our dog enjoyed her stay too. Jenny is a lovely, friendly host. Highly recommend this property!

We received a warm welcome from Jenny upon our arrival, the accommodation was well appointed, with treats in the fridge. The gardens were beautifully laid out and having the farm animals at your back door was amazing!

Nice standalone building with great water pressure and a clean garden. Jenny and Andrew were very friendly and approachable, really appreciated them letting our two little dogs stay too! Close to town but a nice piece of land with a few farm animals you can help feed.

A two day break away from routine and so so refreshing. Wonderful garden, quiet, and peaceful. Lovely accommodation. Enjoyed chatting with Jenny and wandering around the property encountering ducks, alpacas and the highland cattle. Totally reccommend

Lovely accommodation in idyllic farm setting
What a wonderful stay we had at this property! The hosts, Jenny and Andrew, made sure the unit was very clean and well-organized with all the amenities we could possibly need. The gardens and creek surrounding the home are gorgeous. My three year old son had the opportunity to feed the farm animals with Andrew which was a highlight for him. Thank you for a fantastic night in the Oamaru area!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Jenny met us and gave us a tour of the farm and all its denizens. Accommodations were very clean and comfortable. By far our favorite spot in NZ. Hope to return!
