"The property is nice. The building are spread out so if your room happens to be in building 4 or 5, you have to walk a lot. The staff should tell you to take the outside way since its much shorter than going through each building from inside. Instead of cookies, a warm cup or tea or coffee will be nice."

"The property was great for what we needed this trip. We needed something close to public transportation, the airport and Oakland Arena. The hotel itself was nice. It was clean and we always saw workers cleaning. Our room was spacious, had bathroom amenities, fridge and nice, cozy beds. When we opened the door to our room it had the smell of old cigarettes, but opening the window helped. (Hopefully they see this and take care of it) The pool was small, but perfect! We were the only ones there all day. Very clean, had nice lounge chairs in the sun and shade as well as clean towels. The only negative was there weren't bathrooms nearby. We had to go to our room. There are plenty of quick eats nearby; Chipotle, Round Table, etc. There is a Chevron with a quick mart that had everything we needed (sunscreen and White Claw, lol) Public bus was right outside and only 2-3 stops from a major BART station, which was at the coliseum/arena. The free transportation to the airport was excellent! We called when we landed and we were picked up within minutes. Now, don't expect the nicest neighborhood. But, we felt safe. It was just myself and my daughter. I'd recommend if you're main destination was the coliseum or arena or just a place to lay your head. Otherwise, there's not much around."

"Booked a king room and was “upgraded to a double queen.” The upgrade was the fact that it had a view. I wanted a king bed not a queen. The night auditor didn’t explain this to me until after I was checked in and went to my room. He then explained to me that they had no other kings available. If that was the case why was it available for me to book? Next, the A/C was very inefficient. It blows poorly and did not get cold at all. I also expressed this issue to the night auditor and he had an attitude about me telling him. He proceeded to let me know that there were no other rooms available and wanted to send maintenance to my room at 1 in the morning. I was tired and checked in at 12am. It was already late. I will be disputing as this was not a great stay."

"Elevator from hell, room and bed were clean enough. Hallways and carpet in elevator looked like a murder scene though. Air conditioning was hardly doing its job. You get what you pay for. It was fine for one night!"
