4/10 Poor

"I will say the staff was doing the best that they could and the location is good. BUT, the room reeked of marijuana and we are talking about oh someone nearby was smoking, more like a frat party on 4/20. The bathroom was super small and none of the towel hangers would stay in place. I can not even stress to you how much this olace looked like it was being held together with duct tape and bubble gum. Due to their short staff and over booking we got to a room at 7pm after arriving at 5:30pm. They were understaffed and doing the best that they could with what they had. The elevators were nothing less than gross, the walls were ripped off in some places and had mold in others, only one elevator was working! All that being said, the location and easy beach access was good. They at least had towels and coffee stocked in the room. For the price paid I guess I get what I ask for but I would have anticipated paying less for the condition of the room. If you’re on a budget and don’t mind the mess then this is the hotel for you."

"I booked this hotel through expedia for a nice summer vacation for my family and I. With that said, the amount of money that was paid for the stay that a few BASIC essentials be of working conditions... 6.6/10 rating is a HUGE LIE!!!!!. *Our entire stay, one elevator was broken and out of service; *flushing the toilet was a nightmare... *how hard is it to provide correct towels. And major last one here: RUSTED, PEELING STAIRWELL. Extremely lucky we as a family didn't have to deal with that hospital stay... Extremely dissatisfied with the LIE of quality. I expected better for what I paid. Wishing I could get a refund"

"Bathroom leaked so bad it flooded the bathroom after one shower. Dead bolt ripped off the wall like someone had kicked in the door at some point. We left early because there was screeching tires and yelling in the parking lot and no one helped me get a refund. I was given multiple fake numbers for who to go to to get a refund when I called after leaving. The lady at the front desk told my husband there was nothing she could do to help us."

"Second time at this Hyat Place on the beach! Outstanding location, very clean, very well organized with great personal and a very convenient parking. Breakfast was great and you full of energy for at list half day to enjoy the beach without being worried about going to lunch early. Visiting with our 12th year old granddaughter. Front desk people very friendly that gave to her some free drinks after sharing few minutes of conversation made her day!"
