Breakfast was £14.95 regardless of whether you just wanted a crossiant or eggs on toast (which was on the menu). Even though there was a large group of us there was no negotiation on this so we went to a Green King pub up the road both days (only 8.95 per head).
On the second day (Sunday) the water was cold between about 8:30 and 9. I told reception at 9:30 and the manager suggested everything was fine, even asking the handyman what his room was like. However, my mum then came down and told me her water was also cold as was my sisters and my daughters, all in different locations in the hotel. No compensation was offered and to make matters worse the manage went off to the rooms and checked the water (9:36 by this point) and said the water was fine in two of the rooms, suggesting we were either imaging it or lying (clearly it's actually a case of the system not coping at peak times). Needs training in customer service IMHO.
