typical country house but in pristine condition. Beautifully clean throughout.
Management should write a book on how to run a hotel properly.

From the moment we arrived and were treated to tea and scones on the terrace our visit was a pure delight. Our room was clean, bright and comfortable with every need catered for.
Dinner was superb as was breakfast the next morning. Throughout our visit there was always a member of staff on hand if needed and everyone was smiley and helpful.
It's a family run hotel and we felt like part of the family!
Very nice country house hotel with superb service. Great location with cross moors walking from the door. Quiet village with one pub, shops etc 2 miles away.
Old fashioned hospitality in a superb location with the most beautiful gardens. Amazing food and wine, best breakfast ever. We ate all our meals in the garden including the legendary warm scones- bliss. The hotel is in a gorgeous village and it backs straight onto the north York moors for easy walking. Loved it.
A truly relaxing two days in this oasis in rural Yorkshire. All aspects of our stay at the hotel were excellent. The attention to detail and quality of the food were first class
Stayed only for one night for a week end with my daughter but really enjoyed the tranquil setting, beautiful house, gorgeous gardens, quality food and super friendly service. Would recommend it to anybody who likes a quiet country hotel where you are being made feel "special". An excellent location for the coastal facilities if one doesn't want to stay in the hussle and bussle of the resorts. Hope to return, thank you!
We love everything about the Grange, the quiet, the leisurely pace, the good food, the lovely gardens, and particularly the personalized service provided by Jane and her sons Bertie and Tom. Don't come if you're looking for a hip and swinging place-this is not it and that's what we love about it.
The hotel owners were most welcoming. The room was great, plenty of space and overlooked the garden. Good breakfast and afternoon teas. Lastingham village itself if quiet and handy for all major visitor attractions.
had a great time, you get no signal for vodaphone or o2 so if you really want to get away its ideal. Th local pub is good too Peter and Hillary will bid you a very warm welcome. All in all fantastically relaxing
Vi stortrivdes på dette lille familiedrevede hotellet i den sjarmerende lille landsbyen Lastingham. Beliggenheten er helt perfekt for fotturer i The Moors. Hotellet er hjemmekoselig, super service, nydelige frokoster, hyggelig afternoon tea i stua og kun Miss Marple manglet i ørelappstolen.
