The staff was very pleasant and easy to deal with. The room and building were both very clean. It was a very nice stay. The only point I have is maybe replacing the tvs in the rooms with smart tvs, which would allow customers to use their streaming services, instead of basic cable.

I thought this property would be very noisy but It was very quiet. There were plenty of parking spaces even though the hotel was fully occupied. Staff were very friendly and courteous.

Not the best hotel experience
Our stay left quite a bit to be desired. Upon entering the property the air was stale and overpowering. The receptionist also apeared to be housekeeping as well. The air on the room was equally as stale. The blanket and sheets were not as clean or fresh as expected. However, the bathroom appeared clean and the staff was very friendly!

Excellent customer service. Perfect location for us as it is the hotel closest to the Navy Base. However wish it were a newer build but customer service makes up for that.

Staff and pricing were great. There was garbage between the hotel and the little strip mall entry, likely not the fault of the hotel but was in the parking lot. The hotel could use a little refreshing, as rust was visible on the metal (due to being in a coastal location) and electrical outlet next to the bed and part of the bed lamp may have a short, as it blinked and quit charging my cell. I quickly unplugged to be safe. But please understand, I will stay there again. The staff were nice, it was close to our planned activities and we have stayed before. Breakfast offering could use some work. No bacon or sausage offered. Not a fan of the folded over egg with a slice of cheese. Sliced fruit didn't look fresh. We did enjoy the juice selection, coffee, hot cocoa, yogurt, bananas and newspaper. Thank you!

Well-run hotel super-convenient to NAVSTA Norfolk
Excellent check-in. Well-run and efficient Hampton Inn. Water pressure in the showers and sink sometimes left something to be desired, and one day maybe they'll get toilets a bit higher (these are pretty low). Breakfast one day was just fine but no fruit first thing (0600); the next day the hot food was all cheese and potato stuff (no). They can't all be winners! Still a good place to stay

Our son was deploying from the Naval station, he lived very close to the hotel. This is a fantastic location for anyone visiting their family members at the Norfolk Navy Base. The staff was very friendly. Nothing bad at all to say about this Hotel.
