This property was not as it appeared on the internet when booking. The only thing that was remotely like what is on the internet is the lobby. The room barely had electricity had to plug in an extension cord, the heat/ac didn't hardly work, there was no cable, the plumbing is terrible and backing up into the sink and bathtub, the toilet wouldn't flush properly and when it did it overflowed onto the floor fecal matter at that and when brought to the attention of the hotel all they said was the room will be cleaned shortly. Ok, that's great but what about the problem with the toilet are we not addressing that, NO they did not just moved us into a different room that was still NO better than the one we were in.

Stayed during Shamrock Marathon. Great customer service and excellent location. However, hotel is in need of an update. It’s very outdated. Stay - March 16 through March 17th.

I reserve 2 rooms for 2 days. Maid services is upon request, I only requested towels for both of our rooms, asked twice and never received them. But what I did get was a pile of dirty towels in front of my room from 11 on Saturday and it was still there when we check out on Sunday at 11. I also let the receptionist know about a bug (I will not name the bug, but it was big, and I have pictures) that I found in the hall in between the rooms, and I was being nice because they were a lot of younger children in the hotel, so I kick it to a corner. I let receptionist know around 10 am on Saturday and it was still there on Sunday at 11. The guy that checked us in was super nice and friendly. The only reason I give a 2 on staff and service. The location is perfect.

Front desk employee wasn’t helpful. They don’t answer the phone at the front desk. Trash in the hallways. Stains on the comforter. Door to balcony gets stuck. Shower was slippery. Hand soap was hanging off the wall. Room was small. Hallways and elevator stink!

Don’t go to sea view
Got there at 4. Rooms not ready for another half hour the room smelled like mold, the heat did not work. The TV did not work. It was freezing in there. The front desk guy was high as hell. He tried to move me in the original room. The heat and TV didn’t work there either initially. Someone vomited, and the only elevator asked for a refund only got 12% off canceled the second day honestly shouldn’t even have that hotel as part of your group

There was a lamp that was broken and the metal part of the shade was in the broken part. The bathroom faucet was broken The commode didn’t work. Had to fix myself. Stains on the bed and chairs. The floor was wet beside the bed and wall. The people were rude.

Great place to get away
The room with kitchenette overlooking the ocean was simply tranquil. The occupancy was low, so there was not a lot of noise or issues with elevators. We will definitely stay again!

Exactly as described. Unfussy oceanfront hotel. No breakfast but nearby anything you could want. Free juice, coffee and water in lobby. Nice pool. Great view on the oceanside.

The location and proximity to the oceanfront with balcony views are excellent qualities. We were only disappointed with the mini fridge door not being able to shut completely, and the lock on the patio/balcony door was broken (I had to use my car key to lift the latch to unlock it). Also, the tub is showing some rust marks and the commode didn’t flush well. So the facilities could use some upgrades.

Overall it was ok. Location perfect, garage was sketchy, view was great from room, door did not close tight unless you made sure it was close, pool is small. Unfortunately a bug was seen crawling in my room, but the extra mini fridge was needed so I’m grateful for that. Hotel could use some renovations… could see too many rusted areas. Lastly the water gets entirely too hot and I’m surprised a family with kids has not complained. Overall I enjoyed my short stay!

Nice room people were ok parking was not so great very little handicapped and someone kept shutting door to get in the building and the card wouldn't open it so had to walk all the way down to lobby in dark garage to get to the elevator

Rooms were redone and freshened up for being right on beach. Obviously old infrastructure but nicely redone. Very convenient and didn’t need much amenity for our stay. All in all worth the rate.

I really appreciated the assistance from one staff member, Denford. He tried his best to help. Our TV didn’t work after switching them 3 times. Then we were awakened by the smoke alarm and smelled something burning...found that it was coming from the heater/air conditioner unit right next to the bed. We did not get a good nights rest at all! Was not very happy with our stay...got no rest and was put in a unsafe/hazardous situation.

From the moment I arrived everything went wonderfully! Easy check in, free parking, convenient elevator, vending machines, BEAUTIFUL room, and everything was clean. There were even dishes, pots and pans in the kitchenette to use along with dish soap and 2 mini refrigerators with freezers. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and body was available as well as plenty of towels. This was by far my favorite stay at Virginia Beach to date. I will definitely be staying here from now on. Thanks for the great service and experience!

No one ever clean my room when I was there, on my last day I was trying to leave and hotel door to lobby was closed I had to go around parking lot to get back inside hotel. I tried to get coffee and machine was not working and person working didn’t even tried to help.
