Wonderful hotel
The hotel is beautiful in every way. The room was perfect and everything was in excellent condition. All of the staff I met in reception and the serving breakfast were charming, helpful and friendly.

Enjoyable stay
Really enjoyed this hotel. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and polite. Plus they were extremely helpful with recommendations on where to eat.

My wife’s apple pro pods were stolen from her bag in our room & sold to a pawn shop during our stay. The AirPods were never able to be retrieved. The older male receptionist was not helpful to provide information on who cleaned our room or offer any corporate numbers/information. Hotel hires an outside 3rd party cleaning company and does not know who is going in out of the room (per receptionist) Called my wife an idiot. Never offered to upgrade our room nor additional amenities were offered during our stay. The hotel should absolutely NOT be a VIP Access hotel. No upgrades or additional amenities were offered. I am shocked how we were treated! Our privacy and comfort was completely violated. The hotel manager/receptionist did not care that an item was stolen out of a bag in a room that we paid to feel safe. This hotel ruined our trip, unfortunately.

We DON'T HIRE 3rd cleaning company as the whole team of the hotel (reception/breakfast/cleaning/management) are employees of our company. We don't know why you assert such incorrect information. Moreover, our reception manager tried to help you with the application "localization" on your wife's Iphone and localization of the air pods indicated Nice City Center on the map. We all guess that your wife lost her ai pods in the city and nobody at the hotel is responsible for that. We are very sorry you didn't appreciate the Riviera Collection, the property is a VIP one since its opening in July 2021 and we are sincerely involved into our guests satisfaction, comfort & security. We hope to have another chance to welcome you in the future, in other circumstances. But please keep in mind that our team members are confidence persons and we cannot accept that you treat them as you did.Kind regards

We had a great stay. Staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Property is great, very nice and well maintained. Location wise it’s a 15-20 min walk to the beach and Old Nice which means street parking was always available. Only downsides are the rooms are quite small and breakfast is not great, not worth the €

Our experience at the hotel was very disappointing due to the unpleasant treatment we received from the manager. From the outset, there was a misunderstanding regarding breakfast. Upon check-in, we were assured that breakfast was included, only to be met with contradictions at the time of check-out by another receptionist. Although, after a discussion, we were assured that it had all been a misunderstanding, the manager approached us in a very unfriendly manner and insisted that we pay for breakfast, implying that we had misinterpreted the situation. Furthermore, we were taken aback by her threat to negatively rate us on hotel review pages if we didn't comply with her demands. This poor rating is not only due to the 60 euros we had to pay for breakfast, but primarily to the unprofessional and hostile attitude of the manager towards us, stemming from a confusion caused by her own staff. Regarding the facilities, although the hotel is visually appealing, the rooms turned out to be smaller than expected. We had reserved a room with a sofa bed, but it was not provided. Requesting a power adapter was futile, as they did not have any. Additionally, we were surprised that none of the four reception staff members, including the manager, spoke Spanish. The elevator was notably small, especially inconvenient if you're traveling with a baby stroller. The location was also uncomfortable, as it is quite far from the city center. Dear Solange, We are sorry that your experience at our establishment was not satisfied. At each check-in, we explain to our guests what services are included in the reservation they have made, including breakfast. After checking with our receptionist, he certifies that he told you that breakfast was not included, and it is clearly written in our file that you did not take breakfast, moreover, when you made your reservation you chose not to take breakfast. There is no threat of a negative rating as this is not possible. Nevertheless, it is obvious that we cannot leave an unpaid bill and we therefore report any such behavior.As far as the room is concerned, you chose a classic triple room with a baby, but as this type of room doesn't allow you to install a cot, we upgraded you to a King room for greater comfort. Only the Junior Suites are equipped with sofa beds, while the triple rooms have bench seating. We took the time to send you a message asking if you needed a sofa bed as we saw you were coming with your baby, you never replied.You should have informed us at the time of booking that you needed a cot, we would have suggested you book directly a King room (since you were upgraded after all...) and not the triple room. As for the staff, we have a receptionist who speaks perfect Spanish, but unfortunately you didn't get a chance to meet him. As far as location is concerned, our guests very much appreciate the hotel's location in the "Quartier des Musiciens", which is quiet and very convenient for reaching Old Nice or the Promenade des Anglais within walking distance (7 minutes). When booking a hotel, you should check the location on a map and indicate whether it looks good to you before traveling. Hoteliers can do wonders but are not in a position to change the location of the hotel :) Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced during your stay, we do our best every time to meet our customers' expectations. Hotel did not honor my Expedia gold status, I still had to wait till 3pm to check in, no upgrade upon arrival. Front desk Nicholas is very friendly tho, every time he would greet us with a smile and offer recommendations. Do keep in mind that this hotel is VERY small, bathroom is about closet size, so do upgrade if you can! Other than that, 10-15 min walk to most restaurants good location, quiet at night.

TINY room and No air-con initially.
If not for the front desk staff Nikolai’s patient and customer oriented oriented attitude, we would have changed hotel the second night because the room which we saw on the hotels.com was so tiny that with our medium size suit cases there is hardly any space to go to the bathroom. No space on the sink counter plus you can’t open the bathroom door if someone is inside. We were glad finally Nikolai changed our room and this time round with a functional air-con and everything work out fine .

The air conditioning machine were set only for heating. It was very hot and they said that only in 15 days they will change the system to cold. I can’t accept this ! They asked me to open the window and a lot of mosquitoes entered the room because it was hot; of course. I want reimbursement of the amount I paid for this night.
