"The location is amazing and only one street off the main Promenade, so great for a visit to Nice. Fortunately we had a nice corner room with windows, but the rooms and overall interior are very dated and a bit dingy. They should replace the mattresses soon. No closet, but at least there was a small refrigerator and a coffee maker! They do have a lounge with seating for breakfast and a very nice small terrace for drinks at the end of the day. Staff was very friendly. "

"I cannot say enough about this gorgeous property. We booked last-minute, arrived to a gorgeous room, went to the concierge desk and they immediately booked five days’ worth of terrific dinners for us, including a Michelin. At every turn, from the gifts at turndown to the housekeeping to the hotel bar, it was pure luxury. Negresco is undoubtedly the luxe way to go in Nice. "

"This is our favorite hotel in Nice. Good location near the old town, tram stop right around the corner, and just far enough from the train station. Oh, and did I mention that they have a great breakfast?"

"I come to Nice annually; this was my first stay at the Boreal but I would definitely return if it maintains its reasonable pricing. It looked smart and cared for and the desk staff were polite and welcoming. My room was comfortable and a reasonable size for the price. The only downside was the noise on Saturday night with bars and restaurants on the street - but the other nights I was there (till Wednesday) were all no problem."
