Absolute Paradise
This is probably the nicest little bach getaway we've ever had. Cushla our host was wonderful and fast communication. The property is well appointed. It has everything you could need for a relaxing, comfortable stay, including a spa to relax in. The air con was wonderful on the hot nights too. We liked that the section was fully fenced, so it was safe for our little dog, to come and go as she needed and we enjoyed fresh tomatoes and basil from the garden too! The water is at the gate, the laid back, peaceful beach commumity vibe is great and being able to have our dog there was wonderful. We were really sad we could only spend 2 nights and would LOVE to come back soon. Thank you so much for a refreshing break away from the real world. Your little slice of paradise is truly HEAVEN.

Great location, amazing sunsets, beautiful estuary to swim in, fully fenced for the dogs, clean, everything you need for home away from home. Nice deck and outdoor furniture, amazing pizzeria at Ngunguru. Walk to shops and cafes. Highly recommend. Be aware though that Vrbo charges in USD.

Great place to stay in Ngunguru
Great little place, very quiet, very clean and very well equipped, and largely very safe for our little dog. Great to have use of the Spa pool too, really enjoyed that :). Very handy for coastal Whangarei region and the City too. Would highly recommend.

Spacious, well equipped, comfortable home that exceeded our expectations. Loads of toys for Miss 2 1/2 to play with. Relaxing for adults and teenagers. Very clean comfortable place with lovely views. Great covered deck for meals. Very well equiped house with all you need for the kitchen and also lots of beach goodies available to o use Very child and dog friendly. Close to some of the best beaches in the country. We had a wonderful stay,very relaxing and we would love to go back if we have the opportunity.

Beautiful location and so quiet
We had a wonderful stay. The house was so well appointed and clean and cosy. We loved the kayaks and the spa pool. Comms with Cushla was outstanding - youvrealky feel like she treated you like royalty. Highly recommended.

A lovely home, so clean with crisp sheets on the super comfortable beds. It was well equipped with everything you could think of to make your holiday stress free. Our two ittle ones loved the ladder and swing with the beach just across the road. Thoroughly recommend.

One beautiful family Bach in the mist beautiful setting.

A serene spot
This house is in an absolutely magic spot! Had the best time watching the tide go in and out while the dog enjoyed the big fully fenced yard and the baby enjoyed the swing! Cushla is the best host ever and made sure our trip was easy and comfortable. Not to mention Ngunguru is so close to so many beautiful beaches. We loved it so much we tried to extend our trip!

Lovely Bach on the waterfront
We really enjoyed our stay at this Bach. The owner Cushla was very accomodating and friendly. The Bach had everything we needed and it was awesome to be able to bring the dogs where there were toys, balls and water provided for them on our arrival. Cushla had thought of every detail for our family from the cot for our baby, table for our toddler and even having toys inside, outside and even in the shower for him. Thank you, we will be back again.

We were thrilled to find a property right on the estuary that we could bring our beloved dog to. The safe swimming and gateway to beautiful beaches was fantastic. The fully fenced property was great peace of mind with a dog and the water bowls for him were very much appreciated when we arrived. The bach is comfortable and homely and we were able to relax immediately. We all enjoyed our stay thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day summer break at the Bach, such a beautiful peaceful place and the surrounding area has so many awesome beaches and places to explore. So appreciated being able to bring our dog who usually doesn't get to stay at holiday houses! House is very comfortable and has everything you need. Highly recommend!

Amazing Spot
Great spot across the road from the Ngunguru Harbour. Super safe for swimming and great place for dogs who are able to be on the harbour (keep up to date with dog access on the Whangarei District Council website as access may change). Great communication with host. Highly recommend this as a family getaway.

Absolutely beautiful
Such a beautiful, serene and very comfortable place to stay. Cushla a very generous, accommodating host who understood the circumstances of our visit blessed us with a couple complimentary nights, which was very much appreciated. The Bach has everything you need, being winter it was quite warm too, and the location is absolutely stunning sitting right on the estuary. Highly recommended place to stay Audrey Ingram
