We attended a family wedding which was just wonderful. The only thing that I would say that was disappointing was how very tired and outdated the room was that we stayed in overnight. Bathroom, paintwork was in need of modernisation.

Arrived 20 minutes before check in time , was sent away without even checking if the room was ready. Bedroom decor good and has been updated , bathroom , corridors and public areas very dated. Asked for something from another menu on room service , flat no without even checking. 7.5 tray charge, daylight robbery , 4,5 for frozen chips So all in all , expectation downtown abbey ish,and a peak price point, reality average motel stay, mediocre at best. Leisure facilities and spa were very good and would go for a day spa but not stay over.

We stayed over at this hotel for two nights. Here’s my experience from the start. We had a warm welcome at reception and the reception staff were helpful. The room was beautiful and very large, very spacious for the three of us. When we went to the bathroom we realised the hand soap was empty and had not been replaced. Which we had to ask for. The shower gel was also pretty empty and ran out. There was also three hairs in the bathtub which we did not bother to mention as we managed to clean away-but unacceptable. When we got to the pool we noticed that there were also non guest ie members of the club which means that for guests you had a few hours in the morning and between 2-6pm in the afternoon. This was not right and I feel this should have been mentioned on the website - because if you have planned a day out you cannot use the facilities. (The pool was open till 9pm) and no children allowed after 6 - but this was advertised as a family hotel. Most concerning was the staff at breakfast. On our first morning we went down for 9am (service stops at 10am). We were told to sit in a separate part of the restaurant, quite hidden and away from the breakfast buffet. We had a child and the space was not convenient, especially when there was a perfect spot closer to the buffet. When we asked to sit closer the lady (short blonde hair) did not seem too happy about it but let us close, the next day she made it look like she was busy and let us wait till another staff came and helped.

This was our 3rd stay at Redworth Hall, 2nd time with the grand children. The staff are amazing, in particular Abbie on reception who welcomed us when we arrived! Abbie was extremely helpful and manage to allocate the room we had been in previously- prefect for us and the 2 grandchildren. The kids loved playing table tennis and crazy golf plus playing in the pool. Thank you all so much for another really enjoyable stay, we would definitely stay with you again and would recommend the hotel to friends and family.

Lovely greeting upon entering. Explanation of facilities and times. Carol one of the receptionists took her time out to show me the way to the room when she realised I made the wrong turn on the first corridor. Spacious double house room (room 11) beautiful front views and lovely breakfast. Use of the spa facilities were fab. During the evening. I was in desperate need of a safety pin with a wardrobe malfunction and reception had one on standby. Highly recommend
