The Kixby is a hidden gem. Very reasonably priced, large room with a king bed, a drawer safe, refrigerator, great shower. Desk staff were very helpful and attuned to customer service. Very friendly. They knew the area well and their knowledge improved our travel experience. This is an old building with narrow staircases, well worn marble stairs, and a turn of the century feel. Small tempermental elevator coaches. A penthouse with a rooftop bar was icing on the cake. Beautiful views of the Empire State Building, Macy's, and Herald Square. A hydration station on floor 2 was a very nice surprise. Square. Close to the Garden. Great area restaurants, international feel with a nice mix of New Yorkers. We loved it.

This unique hotel was very close to the Empire State Building, Macy's and the subway system, which made getting around easy. We liked the room, and the restaurant that was attached, was a nice convenience. The breakfast was great for grab and go and we were pleased that this was included. We would stay here again.

I stay here every time I travel to NY! Staff is great, rooms are SUPER clean, and the towels are the softest I’ve ever felt. Also, it really is close to everything.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location and a staff that goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. However, there's one glaring issue that left a sour taste in an otherwise pleasant stay. While the location was ideal and the staff were friendly and accommodating, there was an unexpected and non-optional amenity fee that wasn't disclosed upfront. Upon receiving the bill, we were surprised to find this additional charge, as it hadn't been mentioned during check-in or at any point during our stay. we were informed that it was indeed the amenity fee. This lack of transparency regarding additional charges wasn’t nice otherwise enjoyable experience.

This was a great hotel if you wanna be close to shopping and some tourist things but not right in the middle of the madness. All of the staff were extremely pleasant. The room was nice from decor to comfort. My only down point was that our room AC didn’t move from “Lo” setting. Aside from that, I would stay again!
