Good stay
We enjoyed the condo. Great location. The only downside is the gym is not open and I picked this location based on that amenity. It will be ready be next year. I would stay there again.

Wonderful quiet stay
Our second stay in this building, we had an oceanfront one bedroom condo that sits back bit still facing the ocean. We really liked it because of the quiet location of this co do in the building. Facility was perfect, no issues with anything, the location is so close to everything, groceries, bars, restaurants, and quick access to highway to travel to sights out of town the host Tricia was wonderful and answered questions immediately. Check in and check out were seemless, front desk personnel was also very helpful, we will return again and stay longer.

Beautiful condo and beautiful view
We have stayed at Coconut Palms II on many stays in NSB, Tricia’s condo is nicely decorated, comfy bed and furniture, and a million dollar view. We have already scheduled our next stay with her. Highly recommend.

Second Time
This was our second year of staying in this property. It's always been very clean. And it's very convenient to walk everywhere down Flagler avenue. The property itself is still under renovation and that might bother some people. But we had no problem with it.

So wonderful.
Tricia was a fantastic host. Patiently answering all questions. Check in was quick and easy, they gave us the needed blue bands for the pool. The 6th floor, one bedroom, corner unit overlooks the pool, right out to the ocean. Ocean view and sliders in both the bedroom and living room offered breathtaking views and lullaby sounds. My sister and I spent so much time on the deck in the Adirondack chairs, day and night listening and watching the crashing waves. It was our favorite spot. There are two elevators, one was out of service for most of the trip but the other worked flawlessly. The pool was heated, clean and comfortable. You open the gate to the pool and you’re on the beach. Even at high tide you still had plenty of beach. The bed was comfy, the shower was wonderful. Plenty of room for storage. A Keurig and coffee maker. Beach chairs, towels and sand toys all there. They are doing construction on the 2nd & 3rd floors. That never interrupted our week stay. Take the 14 minute walk to The Garlic for dinner. They open at 4pm. You need to line up. First come. First served. Totally worth it. We went twice. Walk down the beach, just past the lifeguard chair to The Breakers on Flagler for the best burgers! For trips we went on a Dolphin watch boat just down the road in Daytona and to Blue Springs State park (in Nov) to see the manatees and alligators. About an hour and 20 minutes from Orlando airport. We can not wait to return. Thank you!

Nice location some drawbacks
Property under renovation and elevator operation sketchy. While this unit has been nicely renovated, there was some issues with the toilet not filling/flushing correctly. The A/C unit in the main bedroom is kind of noisy. There was no TV written channel guide used for reference. No pot holders found in unit. Soap dispenser in bathroom did not pump out soap.

Elevator on Pause
This was a very cute condo with a large balcony & and a great ocean view. I read some of the other reviews before booking this condo - 1 of which said that there was renovation going on & that elevator didn’t work - so I contacted the host BEFORE Booking and explained that both my husband & I had disabilities and that a unit on the 6th Floor, without a working elevator would be a problem for us. She assured me there we NO problems with the elevator but when we arrived we learned that the elevator had been shut off as a precaution due to the storm (Hurricane Idaliah) which did not impact the area much. The employees turned it back on so that we could get our luggage up the 6 DOUBLE flights of stairs to the 6th floor. When we came back from dinner, the elevator was not working and we had to climb all of those stairs. 2 days later - the elevator was not working again. The security guard told me that the elevator goes off all of the time - and later, the electricians that were working on the elevator said that there was no surge protection so this would continue to happen. The Internet was out for a short period that day as well, so there must have been an electrical surge. The condo seemed very clean but there was some kind of fine dust in the bedroom that seemed like it might be from the renovation. Otherwise- the host was responsive- and the building is definitely under renovation-

This is our third year staying at this unit! The resort was undergoing renovation and there were some elevator outages however this was beyond the control of the owner. In fact, the staff were very accommodating and offered to assist us in carrying our luggage down the stairs. Trisha has always been a great host, the unit has always been clean and the bed is the most comfortable bed of any VRBO we have ever rented. We are already looking forward to our 2024 NSB vacation and we will be staying at this location again next year!

The unit was great - clean and well equipped for an enjoyable stay. The pool was extremely well maintained, the private beach area was great with wonderful cabana-like shelters. It was awesome being right on the beach and having dinner or breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beach. Watching the sunrise from your room is beautiful and peaceful. However, the elevator did not work the entire time we were there. We had to climb SIX STORIES of stairs every time we came and went - the owner offered to help bring bags up on arrival, but no apology or offer of mitigation for the onerous task of climbing 80 steps many times a day for the rest of the week. Many people my age could NOT have climbed 12 flights of stairs at all. Equipment failure is not the host's fault - but her failure to offer ANY type of resolution to the problem is appalling. Great property. Overall, an enjoyable stay with comfort and convenience and a beautiful view.

We have stayed in Tricia’s condos at Coconut Palms several times and have always enjoyed our stays. Weird this year as most of the units are being renovated after the back to back hurricanes. Our unit was still in perfect condition. Only caveat would be that since there are so few people in the building it takes a while to get hot water up to the sixth floor so you have to let the water run for a while to get a hot shower.

Very nice ocean front condo
Despite the weather not cooperating, we enjoyed our time here. The condo was wonderful and had a spectacular view! We did a dolphin cruise with turtle mound which is less than 10 minutes from the condo. Daytona speedway very close as well! Will definitely be back!

WORST STAY-CATION EVER!!! SHAME ON VRBO/COCONUT PALMS II-Miss use of storm $$ to Renovate!
We had contacted VRBO/Owner of property a week/in half prior to our arrival - asking about any damages from "Hurricane Ian"! Should we be concerned? VRBO/Owner called back & said that the property had only sustained damages in the lobby of the complex (carpeting was being taken out & should be completed by the time of our arrival (15OCT2022). Upon arrival we knew that something was wrong, as there were only Renovation vehicles & tubing coming from the South side of the complex & construction bins everywhere! The front doors of the complex had a sign with an arrow pointing to the North side of the complex to check-in. Our check-in instructions apparently didn't download properly, so Mgmt. contacted the VRBO/Owner & she met us a couple of hours later, as we were a little early for checking in. We had told her we were not happy with the information that given prior to arrival that the whole complex was being renovated & closed! VRBO/Owner said she had no idea that all of this was going to take place during our stay! Upon arriving to the 6th floor unit there were dehumidifiers up/down the corridor halls & blowing excessive heat & cords everywhere! (Sounded like Jumbo Jets)! We were told that these machines, should be turned off by the next day (Sun.16OCT)! Unfortunately, that didn't happen until the 6th day of our 8th day stay!!! Also, there was a sign taped to the door of our unit that said the unit was being occupied, so that the workers would know. We had only been in unit no more than 5 minutes when there were knocks on the door & someone trying to open it! We opened door to about 6+ workers & asked how we could assist, they said sorry they didn't know it was being occupied! This happened twice more & the workers were laughing & saying sorry. The workers then proceeded to hammer so loud & hard in the unit next door that the artwork in our unit was about to fall off the walls!!! We immediately complained to Mgmt.; they would contact the Contractor/Inspector to have them stop. Mgmt. also had advised us that the restoration was actually starting a week earlier than they had anticipated & tried to say the VRBO/Owner was aware of the work & that the complex was closed other than the (7) of the privately owned units were un-scathed! The hammering & saws would start @ 0700 every morning of our stay, along with dehumidifiers 24/7. This was our 2nd time staying at this unit & will not reserve again! SHOULDN' T ENDURED THIS TYPE VACATION"!!

Love me some New Smyrna Beach time
We loved this unit’s comfort, decor, and special extras (my nirvana is floating on a water mattress in the pool, I almost cried when I found one in the storage bench on the balcony!) Loved that we could see/capture the sunsets from this end unit balcony as well. Oh! and I got an awesome pic from the balcony of a full double rainbow in the clouds over the wild King Tide surf :))) Tip: walk the beach south to the car access (3rd ave) and cross Atlantic Ave to Off the Hook (strip mall eatery) for their oyster specials on Saturdays and Sundays. Haha, another vacation nirvana for me!

Great stay our 4 nights at this condo. We received check in information a day before leaving and was pleased to greet smiling and helpful faces when we arrived. The condo was well decorated and very comfortable for two. Loved the balcony/view and location to Flagler couldn't have been closer. Kitchen was stocked with all we needed. We would stay here again.

Second time at this property but it’s been a couple of years. We really enjoy our stays here. It’s an awesome location and a beautiful unit!! We had a slight hiccup upon arrival as the on-site property manager led us to believe that we could access the unit to leave our belongings. Unfortunately the owner’s housekeeper didn’t agree and required us to remove everything including all the groceries we had placed in the fridge. I’m in complete understanding with removing the suitcases etc (for cleaning & disinfection purposes) but the fridge?? It created an issue that housekeeping was NOT HAPPY ABOUT!! We apologized for the miscommunication but she was NOT HAPPY!! Whew. Water pressure and temperature left little to be desired but that’s the trade off for the best spot on the beach!! Hope to return again soon. I miss it already!!

The condo was perfect! It looked just like the pictures, updated and do welcoming. It even had beach chairs snd an ice chest which was not expected. The main building and pool area need a lot of work. Only one elevator was operating on a holiday weekend. Security is a must at the pool also. A lot of outsiders not wearing wristbands using the pool.

Took my son to the beach for the week. It was great, very clean. It had a great view of the beach and was really cute. The deck was huge and plenty of seating. The only complaint I have is that the beach chairs need to be replaced, they are rusty and one was broken.

This condo was just as advertised. The view of the ocean was spectacular. The apartment was clean and just as the pictures showed. The balcony overlooking the pools and ocean was awesome as we spent each morning watching the sun come up over the ocean. There were some minor issues though. The water pressure was low and hot water was not readily available so no hot showers. There were no extra garbage bags and only one roll of toilet paper. You have to make sure the garbage is out of the apartment before you leave which is not a problem, but you do need additional garbage bags. No extra rolls of toilet paper which is only an inconvenience once, but that can be interesting. I would definitely come back here and stay. New Smyrna Beach is a great place to vacation.

Fantastic, beachfront unit. Trish, the owner, was very responsive to all inquiries. If you are looking for a 1 bed unit, centrally located b/w pharmacy/grocery store and Flagler Ave this is the unit for you. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to rent again. Happy new year, Trish.

We definitely enjoyed our stay. We were there for a wedding and the location was in walking distance to all our family. Very cute condo!! Just perfect. Please tell owner that the only problem, and it wasnt much of a problem at all but more to let her know, that the tv in bedroom would come on by itself but not sure if it was connected to the switch. We would come back to condo and tv would be on. Thank you again! Would def recommend!
