The parking lot was very icy, the lobby was clean and inviting, but the remainder of the building needs updating. My room was not aged well particularly the bathroom. The plug for the jetted tub did not fit the drain size so the water drained right out. There were cracks in the shower stall that I cut my foot on. Needs updating and TLC. Not what I expected for a Hilton property and certainly not for a King Suite.

The property was nice the only thing I did't like was it was very hard to leave the protery for an outing because of the on coming traffic both ways.

Our proximity to the highway makes transport to and from the hotel easier for guests. However, our great location also puts us in an area with high traffic. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything about the traffic and instead work on our property to the best of our ability to ensure every guest feels safe and comfortable inside the hotel building. We arrived at 10:30PM the night of check in only to be told that they overbooked this Hilton Garden Inn in Shelton, CT. It was a major inconvenience to have to deal with this, especially when we were exhausted from a long day and needed to get to sleep

This property was absolutely perfect after driving from Florida I wanted to relax in a clean beautiful room and it’s exactly what I got not to mention so comfy. The staff young lady at the front desk was absolutely professional, very kind and very accommodating.

We are a family-friendly hotel and also host guests with children in tow. We do ask all guests to respect one another and keep the noise level to a minimum; however, it is a very tough battle, especially when we have families staying with children for company. We wish you had made us aware of this issue during your stay, as we would have been happy to request the concerned parents to take control of the situation or move you to another room to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Whatever we can do, we are happy to. It's regrettable that you also had an issue with weak water flow in the shower. While we are glad that our staff addressed your concern by shifting you to another room with a working shower on the second day, it sounds like our service was not as prompt as you'd have hoped, and we are sorry for any inconvenience caused due to the service delay. As we strive to exceed our guests' expectations, your feedback is invaluable to us, as it aids us in making improvements for superior guest experiences in the future.
