Huge room, uncomfortable beds
Giant room & bathroom by European standards. Everything was great, with the exception of the beds, which were very uncomfortable.

Great location. Bus stop outside if you are coming from Lofoton or Tromso. Not far to walk to city centre. Not for to walk to the railway station.

Nice staff and great breakfast but state of the rooms much worse than shown on the photos. Peeling paint in the bathroom that was in much need of renovation. Not great value for money

Extreme variability room to room
This hotel is basically two hotels. The first room I was given was in the older section of the hotel and was not at all reflective of the photos on the site. I've uploaded photos here so you can see it. I spoke to the reception and they offered me another room (which was in the newer section) for a small upgrade (50 NOK/night, about $5/night). The difference was extreme! Everything from the hallway, the doors to the rooms, to the room and bathroom were drastically different. The new room was fantastic and I was very happy with it. The photos on the site are accurate reflections of the new rooms. Just be aware that you may need to go back and request a different room if you're placed in the older section, and that they may ask for a small upgrade fee (well worth it, though not especially honest since the photos on the site only show the newer rooms).

This hotel is a straight shot up from the bus station. Very friendly checking staff who looked city bus schedule up for us! Clean hotel, great bartender and an amazing chicken Caesar salad! Negative, if any, small room. Would stay here again!

This is a town hotel within easy walking distance of all Narvik's considerable attractions. An airport and local bus stop is right outside the hotel.

Good and convenient
The hotel is located conveniently in the centre of town. It is an easy walk from the train station. The room was well presented and in good condition. The breakfast menu was extensive with good service from the staff. We thought that the hotel was good value for the tariff.

Reception cool to start but warmed to their task- not really interested in our difficult arrival by replacement bus when Stockholm train got no farther than the border all in heavy rain!

Nice hotel in a good location
A decent enough hotel located fairly centrally in Narvik. Rooms were just what you would expect for a large chain hotel of this type. Clean, comfortable, well equipped rooms, but nothing to elaborate. The staff were friendly enough and the food was generally good. The breakfast is a typical Scandinavian buffet affair, there is a downstairs pub/restaurant which serves great burgers, ribs, tex mex, pizza, etc. Upstairs there is a more formal restaurant which has spectacular panoramic views from the top floor of the hotel. The menu however, is “esoteric” and the cost…. Well if you have to ask, you can’t afford it. My advice, go up and have a look at the view, and then go downstairs for a burger.

Enjoyable Stay
My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Thanks to Cecilie! She was so helpful and sweet. She recommended Viva Restaurant. We had dinner there and it was one of the best meals in Norway. Our bed was comfortable. We had large fluffy towels and a bright light at the mirrow in the bathroom. There was a nice long table/desk with a fridge underneath one end. There was a table w/ 2 chairs in the room. We enjoyed our breakfast. Parking was convenient in the garage next to the hotel.

Old, worn down, but nice people and location
I got a room that was very old, it didnt even have ventilation, considering i paid almost 200eur for a night thats very bad. Very nice staff, but the service in the restauraunt in the first floor was quite bad. I will not live here again because there are better options in Narvik.
