Very friendly staff, they speak english and they are available 24 hours. The queen room was clean, comfortable, and wide enough for one person. I had a breakfast in my room as per my request.

Central Small Hotel Good Service No English TV
The hotel is small, as was my room, and the breakfast room was under repair, so a bountiful continental breakfast, including rolls, cereal, fruit, juice and coffee was served on the small space available on my desk. Main complaint" no TV channels in English, like CNN or BBC. This is uncommon, yet 1 out of 3 of my hotels seemed not to care that most foreign tourists, not just US and Brits, use English for travel. The bathroom, though large, had no toilet paper holder, attributed to a destructive former guest. Also, no soap holder in the shower, but manager Patrizia put a chair in the bathroom so it wasn't necessary to bend to the floor. Antonio at the desk was great and informative. Staff mostly very helpful.

We stayed 2 nights at this property in Naples before heading to Sorrento. We arrived late, at almost midnight but I called the property while in the taxi to let them know and the gentlemen was very kind and waited for us to arrive. We were checked in quickly and efficiently and also pre-ordered our breakfast which would be delivered to our room. The AC was off when we entered so it took awhile for the room to cool down, but it eventually did. The bathroom was nice and big with good water pressure. The room itself was very small but it met all of our needs and was clean and comfortable. It was a bit noisy but that was to be expected being right in the city. The breakfast was delicious and delivered right on time at the time we requested. There is also parking right next door if you need that.

This hotel is pretty rundown . I could see how it’s used be a nice hotel , but not any more . Had issue with air conditioner 2 times in one day we stayed there . Tried to call front desk about air conditioner issue , room phone did not work . End up going downstairs to report issue to the clerk . Shower door wasn’t closing properly , was off the rails . Walls looked pretty used with huge scratches all over . Just had that feeling of something that hasn’t been maintained well . I understand various stuff are expected to brake down from time to time . It was just too many small thighs that were broken . On the positive side . Stuff was very nice and professional. Planty of soap and shampoo and few other disposable items . Parking is paid as expected , right next to hotel with in and out privileges .

I barely ever write reviews or complain, but We would never stay at this hotel again. We put clean room sign on door and when we arrived back to hotel the room was not cleaned at all. Next day when i told manager that room was not cleaned and if we can have 30 minutes extra checkout time, they wamted to charge us 30 euros and did not care that our room did not get cleaned and manager called our room at exact check out time and said we can not stay 1 minutes longer. And hotel was not even full. Checkout is at 10.30am horrible. Complimentary breakfast was days old pastries, hard boil your own eggs in a plastic container, eggs cooked on a portable burner., had no ice, no luggage room, receptionist sleeping at entrance and all dark, rooms old and dungy, very small side street with garbage , homeless people, cars with broken windows etc. Not recommended at all to stay at hotel like this and also to be treated badly from hotel personnel. Many many better and cheaper places to stay in Napoli and that value their clients. AVOID THIS HOTEL.

We didn’t feel welcoming in the Hotel,s restarant. Staff talked á lot between ếach other ỏr watched TV. Sometimes they watched what we choose to eat. Fruits was covered with flyes, sơme cakes wasn,t cut in portions, We wish you to be more friendly and smile more to your visitors.

Clean, quiet and well located
This small hotel was well located in Naples and most major attractions in the centre of town are within walking distance. The hotel was clean and quiet and the rooms are spacious if a little dark. The day receptionists speak good English (if you do not speak Italian) but this is not the case with the night staff. The breakfast is good for a hotel at this price point and the staff were friendly. Altogether entirely acceptable given the star category and the price and I would consider staying here again.

Very clean room and shower! They had a breakfast. The rooms had teapots and tea, but I didn’t see any wayer. The front desk clerk a female was not very friendly and unable to understand when I asked how much time will it take to get to the airport when she asked if we needed tramsport. At 4:30am when I left the fromt door area was pitch black and the front desk person appeared to be sleeping as he did not come to help me as I struggled with my bags. The doors in the room slide closed and I was unable to lock the door right away as I heard a mans voice behind me. I tried several times and it seemed to lock on a timer as the guy helped pushed the door closed for me.

The hotel is very convenient to be able to walk to the port if you want to take the ferry to Capri or Sorento. Also, there is a train station five minutes from the hotel. In addition, there are many great restaurants around the hotel itself.

Average hotel, great location
We stayed one night in the Golden Hotel at the end of a long weekend in Campania. The hotel itself is perfectly fine if you want somewhere clean and comfortable to spend the night. The room was clean and a decent size, the staff were friendly but their English wasn't the best so sometimes didn't understand the question but that really isn't a problem if you just need some directions. The breakfast wasn't great but the standard options were there. The big positive of the hotel is the location, from there you can easily reach the historical center of Naples, the shopping area, the port or the waterfront. We had a rental car so a massive plus for us was the 24h parking garage next door which was EUR25 for 24 hours. Overall, if you want somewhere clean and centrally located then this hotel is great. If you want something a bit more up market then pick somewhere else.

Great Stay
We only stayed here one night as a layover for a flight but it was very nice. We were able to park our car next door which made transferring our luggage very easy. Hotel staff could be more hospitable but overall we had a great stay.

The hotel staff at the reception was very rude. we stayed only one night, however we were met with unbelievable rudeness. We travel a lot, and this was first time to get such " greeting"

The Golden Hotel is conveniently situated near to the metro a couple of streets back from a main shopping street. Half way between the ancient part of Naples and the seafront surrounded by plenty of lovely places to eat and Gelaterias. The rooms are beautifully presented, bed was comfortable, air conditioning welcoming in the hot weather. We had fresh towels every day without asking. A great place to stay.

Clean comfortable and handy location
I booked 4 nights in a twin room for me and my sister. The room was a double however the bed was huge and we were given access to a small adjoining single room, so that was great. Breakfast was fine, as others have said food is a little depleted by 9am onwards but still enough and lovely croissants. The safe in our room was a bit temperamental and finally died on the last night, however the overnight reception was able to get it open within 10 minutes. I'm sure it would have been repaired the following day if we'd still needed it! The room was cleaned to a good standard every day. We overlooked a small one way side street so there was a little bit of traffic noise but it went quiet overnight. The main shopping street is a few minutes away with lots of restaurants. The main square with the tourist buses is just a 10 minute walk away. There are a couple of small supermarkets steps away. A fridge in the room was handy for bottled water. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was in a great location, rooms were very clean and modern and the staff was very helpful and friendly! I have no complaints other than the shower had one glass wall facing the bed. As I was travelling with my mum the lack of privacy was a bit of an issue for us. It seems like there was maybe a method to black out the glass wall as there was a mystery switch in the shower itself, either way it didn't work in our room. It was no big deal to leave the room while the other showered and I wouldn't see this being an issue at all if you were travelling with your partner or spouse.

Top little hotel in a great location
We stayed here for 3 nights and were very happy with our choice of hotel. The room was small but very comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. It is a couple of minutes walk from the Toledo Metro station which makes it easy to get to and to get around. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk into the heart of the old town and about the same to the waterfront. Via Toledo is virtually just around the corner and offers a number of nice places to eat in the evening. The hotel proved to be a great base for our short stay in Naples.

Simple and quiet hotel
Reception staff were very helpful and had amazing knowledge of the area. Location was very quiet and close to many amazing restaurants. Bed was a little hard but pillows were good. Small fridge in the room was a plus. Breakfast wasn't that great...better off walking down the street to grab a bite. Watch out for the taxi drivers they'll Take you all the wrong ways just to get more € out of you! Make sure you know your way before getting in a cab! Such a great trip to Naples! So happy we included this stop in our honeymoon!

Great Hotel - great location, lovely staff
This hotel was in a great location with a nice nearby shop, many restaurants , close to Toledo Street and the Pier. The female staff were friendly and very helpful especially when one of our group was pick pocketed and they wrote an Italian translation of what happen on hotel letterhead paper to help explain the situation to the local police. However, there was a guy that worked reception every night: He was rude and unhelpful with no interest in conversing with people staying in the hotel - watching the world cup was his only priority. The breakfast was good - yoghurt, meat, cheese, toast, fresh rolls, range of pastries and fruit as well as fruit juices (the juice, however, were not good -not fresh fruit juice and tasted very watered down. Found this odd in a country with fresh fruit so cheap and so easily accessible). THE ONLY COMPLAINT I have was in relation to the beds - I booked a quadruple room as there were three adults, each of whom wanted their own bed. Therefore a triple room would not be sufficient (1 double and a single bed). The description of the quadruple room was one that was comprised of one double and two single beds. What wasn't stated, was that these 2 single beds would be in the form of a bunk bed. Fine for children but just not acceptable for adults. VERY VERY VERY annoyed with this situation!!! On the plus side, the bathrooms were very clean and the air conditioning kept the room lovely and cool.

It was very close to a closed off street where we could walk easily past numerous shops to the historic district. It was also close to two very good restaurants...one where we ate lunch...another where we enjoyed a delicious dinner with many locals.

Beautiful hotel situated in the center of Naples.
The hotel is very beautiful for a 3 stars. Most important, it's perfectly situated. And better again, a parking is available at a cheap price. Trust me, the location and the parking is a must for a place like Naples.
