Pension Eleni is a well run property. The room is small (there are larger rooms with balcony, but we didn’t manage to find one) but you have everything you need. A nice vue to the sea is a bonus. Mrs Eleni is very friendly although she speakes English quite poorly. You don’t have a real breakfast but they offer butter, bread and marmelade and you have the necessary kitchenware available. The WiFi is OK. Overall is a very good value for money. Still, be aware that if you do not come by car (or taxi) you have to climb a good number o stairs, a problem if you have luggages. Also, you have to use the stairs, down and up, everytime you go in the old city, which is really near by (Syntagma sq is 200m away!) with shops and restaurants. If you come by car, as we did, the good news is that there is a public parking very near by. The bad news is that finding a free slot is not easy, especially during the evening (maybe this is the case only during the full season - we have been in August). Daniela & Alexandrunear
