Excellent hotel!!!!!! The staff was really professional and so kind…. I did the aromatherapy massage with my daughter, it was the best massage we ever had…. And we did so many massages in the US!!!! Hoda and Jenny were so professional and sweet, the self service breakfast was divine!!!! Overall wonderful stay and we will definitely come back

I didnt like the place and the room in your website is completely not the same like reality . Place full of negativity. Staff not trained and everyone tell different talk regarding refund policy. Beacuse of all of above i left the place before checking in and promised to do my refund which i am still waiting

Unprofessional they decided to close the slops for 2 days the first there was a storm which is ok but the next day it was sunny and a perfect ski day but they decided not to open the slops for no reason other than cutting cost and wait for a busy weekend to open

Decent but not great
The hotel location and structure is very nice. Too bad some of the service especially in the restaurants including the food leaves to be desired. The bar and restaurant menu is very poor especially in wine. The food is bland. A five star hotel should deliver better quality food especially in Lebanon where people eat well. A better restaurant could also deliver more customers from outside the hotel. Overall the hotel experience is decent but not great.

The calmness and the nature surrounding were formidable. The wooden architecture gives a sense of serenity. The breakfast buffet is superbe. Rooms are similar to any 5 star hotel. Very good rooms but nothing special there.

Unforgettable Stay
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Staff were happy to offer a room upgrade upon request when I did not like my view. Breakfast was exceptional and so were the team at converge who always greeted us with unparalleled hospitality.

resort facilities great , Rooms need to be renewed
An excellent winter family resort. Ski in and out facility? Heated large indoor pleasan pool, arcade bowling and cinema facilities made it loads of fun for kids from 5 to 17. Rooms need an upgrade badly and the heater is always too hot even when turned off in the room. The carpet the decor of the rooms is rundown and out of style but room size is good. The grand lobby of couches and fireplaces in the hotel is also loads of fun and fun to sit in for hours ! Food in hotel dussapointig but ok.

Cozy Hotel
It is a high end hotel cozy!! It was quiet(during weekdays/our stay) which was exactly what we were looking for. The Hotel has a pool indoors(heated in winter), spa, cinema, games center, shopping area and direct access to snow/ski. The valet is not free (for the ones who care about such details) but there is a parking area for self-parking. The room is decent well decorated and comfortable. Everything is heated so you need to wear something light indoors and a very thick jacket when going out. A very pleasant stay!

A nice resort in the heat of Mount Lebanon
Mzaar is an amazing place to stay at, especially in August, where lots of activities are carried out to celebrate Virgin Mary's assumption. I was upgraded to a very nice suite. The only bad thing I experienced was the internet connection, which was a disaster. Apart from that, the hotel is excellent.

Great location but not deserving of price.
Although you can feel that the hotel had its glory days, its current state felt quite run down and yet the demeanor of the staff was arrogant as if the location was sufficient to satisfy all needs. As a ski resort the atmosphere was evidently not present and there was a general blasé attitude by the staff. We were there off season and mid week but it would have been nice to see some effort to animate the guests. As for the bad stuff, rooms were in desperate need of spring cleaning, dirty spotted carpets, dust in a variety of corners, stale smells, calcified showers, dirty shower curtains, curtain rods not working, generally not a 5 star hotel feel. Restaurants were adequate but again not deserving of the costs. But worst of all was the non-performance of the so called free internet service. For me that was the worst. Not only we could not upload anything reliably but I could not even get one text out to my staff. I mean I booked a 5 star hotel with the aim of being decently connected in the evening so that I can check on my business. Tsk tsk.

Cheating and steeling venue
It deserve 100 us naximum or night. Bad attitude staff . Room was dirty . Called to change the room 3 times . They keep me wait till 11 11 30 . New years eve . And finally refused to change it . Nor even to send the housekeepers to clean it and change the old wet bedsheets . I paid 400 usd per night with minimum stay for 3 night fully paid in advance non refundable. Without breakfast. 9 usd for a single espresso . 220 usd for rabbis Italian dinner . Rip off room service . Ritz Carlton prices with isolated motel quality .

Excellent hotel, but needs a huge overhauling
I have to admit that I was quite disappointed with the hotel condition 4 years after my last visit. To start with, upon check in, we were offered a room that is seriously outdated, with ripped bed covers and curtains, and a very strong cigarettes smell. We left the room and back to the lobby to change the room and was offered another room in the main building that was slightly more modern but still wouldn't qualify for a 5 stars hotel room, or even close. I am surprised that Intercontinental Group is doing no improvement on this excellently located hotel, however one that needs major overhauling in order to be worthy of being called a world class 5 stars hotel. On the other hand, some staff in the lobby bar seriously need to have a refreshing training on customer service and friendliness. I find that employees in a 5 stars hotel have to have much better manners.

Overrated
Ive been all over the world, this is definitely not a 5 stars hotel. It's a nice hotel due to its location and history. The staff is fine, not very organized, not very friendly. It gives you the feeling as if they're not happy at work. The condition is fair, the restaurant is just ok nothing impressive. Again it's overall fair but definitely dont have high expectations. I wouldn't book there again.

Horrible service from start to finish
We arrived on a Sunday and the hotel was overpacked and completely understaffed. Our check in was supposed to be at 3 but we didnt receieve our room till after 5. We didn't even get one apology for the lateness. The hallways leading to our room were so dirty with food trays all over the floor. Even the restaurants were understaffed to an extent that we had to leave one of them after waiting for our table for 30 min because the waiter informed us that the food needs 1 hour to be served. All in all i would give this hotel a maximum of a 3* rating. Totally not worth paying a 5* price for such poor service.
