Located at the north beach very close to Tengar outlet. The beach is nice but the pool is too small, but they give you an option to access a near by hotel for a better pool experience. Rooms if you one of the lucky one who stay inside the hotel quarter you will be fine, but if you will be on one of the outside wings you going to have a lot of wind noise durning the night. Our room had low water pressure in the shower we were on the 9th floor the door frame was looking like someone try to break in and it almost does not latch the door. Do not accept it to look like the pictures showing on Expedia I bet those were taken when the built the hotel. I will expect from a brand like Hilton to keep up the maintenance but it does not seem like. Also parking on the weekend was horrible it was hard to find any parking spot, most of the parking is reserved for valet, so you need to use that service if you want to park your car on the weekend. Weekday we did not have any problem.

The room we booked was deceiving on Expedia, photos showed an ocean view for the bedroom AND the sofa room but that was not the case. Room size was good. Housekeeping was helpful when needed. Fitness area was great, pool area was good. Parking is easily accessible just a per day charge which was expected. Shuttle available to most local places. I'm a little surprised that they didn't have events for kids going on as we stayed over Easter. Beach Access was perfect. Aside from the advertising not matching, the carpet and doors to the rooms are outdated. Bathroom door didn't close tight, chipped a long the bottom and entrance doors were definitely aged. The noise from housekeeping carts entering and exiting the staff elevator was loud and kind of annoying.

I don’t leave review, this one is worth mentioning. Sheets were never changed and management could not address heating room condition in room to accommodate us. Total waste of time and money. Never will I visit this property again.

Total bait and switch by Hilton yet again. Booked my stay through Expedia for the Hilton Ocean view room. Paid a premium for this modern Ocean view king size bedroom. When I arrived, there was an issue at the reception desk, and the check in agent stepped away from the desk for approximately five minutes with my license. She came back and told me there had been a kerfuffle with Expedia, but she had taken care of me and giving me a very nice room in the Royal Palms. This is a much older hotel attached to the newer Hilton. What I received was a dingy hotel room that was outdated, and my ocean view had to be observed by leaning over the balcony. The shower diverter did not work, and the thermostat on the wall would only go to 74 -you could not adjust it from there. I do not plan to stay with Hilton again. Last year I had the same thing happen on a vacation booked with poolside room in Key West Florida. When I arrived, my poolside view room was blocked by a 5 foot tall hedge. When I address this with the agent at the desk, then they said well the room is near the pool. They waved my resort fee, charge to somehow make the bait and switch up. I’m sorry two strikes you’re out.

It’s a place to stay near the ocean if that’s what you are looking for. The room was not fully clean upon check in…still hairs in the bathroom and on the towels. Random stains on the covers and chairs in the room. The view was amazing, and the location of the resort was near everything in Myrtle Beach. “Resort” should be used lightly. The pools were freezing the entire time. None of the guests were in them. One of the hot tubs closed the entire time. Parking was super easy. The food on site is okay if you are wanting something quick. I’ve stayed at better Hilton resorts in other states that did a lot more for you for charging the resort fee, but decent place to stay.

Far from what I expected given the amount I paid. Our hotel door had three separate issues, which in turn caused us to be locked out three times, go wait at the front desk, and wait for a maintenance request to be fulfilled. And each time, they couldn’t fix my door. Front desk said they could wave my parking. Well that’s fine and dandy but I missed a show I bought two tickets for because of these issues. Front staff couldn’t do anything about my troubles, specifically because I “booked through Expedia”. Well, I learned my lesson on both fronts. Never again Hilton, and never again Expedia. I’ve yet to call Expedia to see if they can do anything, but I did purchase my trip protection. If they cannot make my experience right, I’m not sure who to be more upset at. This hotel also had one bathroom in their lobby. Every time we got locked out of my room, I unfortunately had to use the restroom too. Why is it that your front staff kept pointing me to that bathroom, which had a “out of order” sign on it. For four days, your staff was pointing people to a bathroom that had “out of order” written on it. That may sound negligible, but it is ABSOLUTELY a cherry on top of being locked out of my room, for the first, second, and then third time. I don’t think I can explain how truthfully disappointed I was by my experience with just words in a review. Actions will speak louder, and my actions will never find me back with Hilton OR Expedia (unless they can make this situation right)

Nice property but for the money I feel better options, added a resort fee and charged for parking.. House keeping woke me up before 9 which I thought was early. never came back when I asked her to. Have to drive as nothing is in walking distance. Weather was chilly but great walks on beach to Apache pier. Nice place and was very quiet at this time of year.

Less than stellar customer service..
We stayed in December for one night while passing through from FL to PA. I was alone with two kids. When we got back from dinner (which went late) it was very cold in our room - 63 degrees. Nothing I did fixed the temperature. By 10:30 when my kids were showered and ready for bed, as we had to be up and out by 7am to continue our long drive home, it was still 63 degrees. I called down to the front desk. No one answered. I WENT down to the front desk. They said maintenance would come take a look. I informed them that we needed to get bed because we had to be up very early. They said maintenance would come right away, they had nothing else to attend to. Twenty minutes went by and no one came so I called back down. This time someone picked up. They apologized and said they would give us a different room. They were sending a bellhop up with a cart and keys to a new room (same floor, they gave me the number). I thanked them. We then waited another 15 minutes. I finally grabbed our things and my kids and we went to wait by the new room (it was in the interior portion of the building and was much warmer than the 1st room even just standing in the hallway waiting). We then saw in the large open atrium the bellhop get off the elevator and head towards our first room location...but on the WRONG FLOOR. I was done by that point. I went back to the front desk. They already knew he went to the wrong floor somehow. They gave me keys to the new room and that was it. Very disappointing.

I think the property is underwhelming given it's brand. Room was pretty ordinary. And, EVERYTHING is nickled and dimed - water (not complimentary); tv channel selection (only 2 HBOs); relative inflexible check-out times particularly given how empty the hotel is; generally very cold in most areas. Staff are helpful and cheerful.
