From the owners to the cleaning and also waiting staff were all wonderful and attentive. Very hospitable and willing to go out of their way to answer any questions! The location for views of the old Mykonos port were stunning and staying at this hotel made everything even better! Thank You!

Such a fantastic family run hotel. It’s comparable to 5 star in terms of service, property structure and exclusivity. I stayed with my family and we had a wonderful time. Well located hotel but but not ideal for those with small children due to the road has no footpath as you walking at a very narrow and winding.

The Gorgona was lovely, a family run property that had been upgraded and was lovely with the most amazing views over the port area of Mykonos. We stayed in a deluxe room that was lovely spotlessly clean and had an awesome balcony.

We love this hotel and stay here fairly regularly. The family who run it are lovely, the pool and the view are both gorgeous. Its close enough to town but far enough away. Great for a week of relaxation!

Nice hotel
We recently returned following a 10 night stay. The hotel is lovely. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels on alternate days. The view from our room (no 109) was absolutely amazing to say the least! Waking up to a sea view everyday was lovely. We had table & chairs on the balcony to enjoy the view. There is also a small fridge in the room. Breakfast was perfectly adequate with cereal, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, coffee or tea & Danish pastries…. Perfect to start the day. The pool is perfect too with the most amazing view. There is a bar which opens in the afternoon where you can order various snacks. The only downside to this hotel is the walk into Mykonos town. It takes approx 15/20 mins, down hill on the way in so obviously your walk back is hard going!! The road is narrow with enough room for one car, you have to squeeze to the side to allow cars to pass not perfect! A shuttle bus from the hotel a couple of times in the evening for a small charge would make this hotel much more user friendly! All in all we have no complaints at all about the hotel other than the walk into town!

Great location, memorable sunsets, caring staff
Great location - only 10 minute walk to the start of the pedestrian town center. Hotel is run by a lovely family who works hard to make your stay a memorable one. Beautiful views, especially at their pool and bar area. We had a truly enjoyable stay. Thank you!

We booked a hotel transfer for this hotel but no one arrived to pick us up so we ended up paying double for a taxi to get there. Our room wasn’t ready on arrival. The pool bar was never open. There is also no door on the shower so water gets everywhere while bathing. The owner was very friendly and the location was good. Nice views of the beach but I probably would not book again.

We are very sorry you have not enjoyed your stay in Mykonos! Regarding pick up service, we do suggest our guest to book it in advanced as our driver is not always available last moment and may be busy by offering a transfer to another guest. Check In is 15:00. In case you arrive earlier we are offering to store your luggage with us and either relax at our swimming pool, or explore Mykonos. As the Check Out is until 12:00 we may not ask previous guest to leave earlier so that you may enter the room 10:00. Regarding the pool bar, you could let us know during your stay: it is operating from 13:00 until sunset. In case you need something earlier you may always ask at reception. We absolutely loved this hotel. The owners and all of the staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. Loved how the cool breeze went through our room in the evening. Air conditioning was great. Beds were very hard and the showers were a challenge but the rest of the hotel made up for those two issues. What we love most was the owner of the hotel, her and her husband and her son were so hospitable they made you feel like you were at home. The breakfast was good fresh and the ambience was amazing. Swimming pool was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who comes to Mykonos!

The property is on the hill top outside of town, not far from the port. It had a nice view of the water and white and blue roof tops. Room was very small for 3 people and we were there for one night! Breakfast was good! The walk to town was nice but the walk back is all uphill and long after a big day and night in town! If you don't mind the walk and small rooms it works!

The family who runs this place is particularly nice. They were helpful and offered to help with transportation (it’s terrible on this island). The pool was also really the best we have seen so far in Greece.

The best balcony view EVER!
We honestly loved Hotel Gorgona. It’s family run, and they honestly can’t do enough for you. We had issues with our airline and subsequently arrived a day late, they communicated perfectly and ensured us that our room would still be available when we eventually arrived a day later. The hotel room is was simple, but very clean and fully equipped. The bathroom was a little small but honestly, if we weren’t sat on our amazing balcony overlooking the sea, we were out enjoying the island. The location is AMAZING! Literally 10/15 minutes MAX walk into Mykonos town (I don’t understand how it’s taking some people 30 minutes to walk to be honest, and if you aren’t a fan of walking, don’t go to Mykonos in general!) Fantastic stay, already looking to rebook for next summer

This was the perfect family run hotel. Location was great for an easy walk to town, but also far enough away to be peaceful and quiet when on your balcony. Pro tip: rent an ATV from across the street and the entire island is right there to explore! Can’t wait to go back!
