The hotel is well placed for transport links, especially with the AirPort Express bus over the road. Staff are helpful and friendly and the breakfast is perfectly fine with enough options.

A little spartan, but overall clean and comfortable for a budget option. Location is not walkable to sights, but very convenient to the metro while the neighborhood is quiet, green, and walkable in its own right.

The only thing that spoiled our stay, was a large (and noisy) group of visitors to the Darts competition taking place over the Easter weekend. The poor Receptionist had a hard time with them. There also a large group of American teenagers on a school trip, and they too were very noisy in the bar area; we had to ask their teachers to intervene (they were sitting there saying nothing!).

Well-located for airport bus, avoid parking.
The hotel is very-well located for the Airport Bus which stops almost opposite on the way to the centre of München; the U-bahn station is only 200m or so away, so is very convenient. The room we stayed in was clean & tidy, the staff were friendly & helpful and we did not avail of the offered breakfast. Parking is available for 13,5€ per day on-site in an underground parking area, but there is parking on-street for 6€, so it may be worth checking that our first, especially if only parking for the overnight period. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others - note that the hotel is across the road from a large cemetery if that has any bearing in your thoughts!

Meh...great location...everything else...debatable
Where to begin? Does anything in the hotel actually WORK? Check-In: first words: the A/C is broken. Waiting a part FOR A WEEK. No fans available. "Management won't allow it. I booked this hotel the day before I arrived. A simple phone call to say the A/C was not working would have gone far. I would have brought my own fan. "Free Parking"???? My butt. Parking is available on the street, but it is not free. But wait, there's a parking garage for 11 Euro a night. Lastly, the "system" to create door keys was down. Needed to be escorted to my room by a staff member. Ice: "ice machine is broken". Really? No A/C, no fans, no ice. Upside: the female staff was amazing. Male staff: arrogant & condescending. Room: "In the interest of the no A/C", I was given an West-facing room, "to cut down on the sun coming into the room in the MORNING". The correct thing to do would have been to given an EAST-facing room. That way, the afternoon sun will be from the east, not the west, when it is the hottest.

Dear Karen, What can i say except i'm sorry. All I can think of is Murphy's law or a German proverb "A misfortune seldom comes alone". We would have gladly given you the parking garage for free if the air conditioning was broken. No idea why nobody offered that . That sunrise was ironic now, wasn't it? So we have given the west rooms, because there the solar radiation is least because we have only a few north rooms. Nice that the ladies are great. Warm greetings

It's an ibis so nothing fancy, but all was available. The bed was pretty comfortable. I liked the location being so close to the city bikes and airport bus. Easy going bar as well. Nothing went amiss.

First time to Munich
Overall this was a very good hotel at a great price. Our room was small but functional and very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. We received just two towels total, which was only slightly inconvenient. Only complaint is that the water in the shower was slow to drain, which could be managed by using water conservatively. The location was great for the price. We utilized the nearby Aldi and U-bahn stations, but there were also nearby restaurants and the older part of Munich is within walking distance. Englisher Garden is just a few blocks away. It was challenging for us as first time visitors to find parking, and once we did we left our car in the spot for the duration of our stay and didn’t miss it at all.

Perfect location for Allianz Arena!
The hotel was perfectly located for us... we were able to jump on the U Bahn and get to Allianz Arena for a game.... and the next morning we were on the right side of town to drive to the Airport without problem. While it wasn't "fancy", it provided everything we needed, including Air Conditioning. And we were delighted to find a box of fresh apples in the lobby.

Great location for travel connections
Basic but clean and with friendly staff. On the down side a lot of items were off the menu when I decided to eat in on the first night. But breakfast was fine with a lot of choice (albeit mostly cold) and included in the price. The location is fantastic as it is right next to the Lufthansa stop for the airport bus and only about 100m from the Nordfriedhof U-Bahn, which makes getting to the MOC or city centre very easy. Will stay there again.

Parking Is Not Free!
One reason I booked this hotel was that I expected free parking. When I checked in, I was told that there was free parking on the street if I could find a spot. While the statement was absolutely true, they should just be up front and indicate that the free parking is on the street and that to park on premises, there is a garage for 10 Euro per night. In their favor, the staff was friendly and the restaurant food was very tasty.

The room was extremely small. Uncomfortable for two people. The parking garage was incredibly small. Good luck if you have a big car, because it would be extremely difficult to maneuver through the garage.Not a lot of amenities. No gym.

Perfect for a short trip
The hotel is in a good location, easy walk to the U-Bahn, convenient to get to city center. The rooms are very clean, modern/minimalistic and compact. Great breakfast buffet, very nice service. The parking garage for an extra fee is a bit tight and has a steep entry but feels safe. Street parking in München is a challenge. There was construction going on next door but unless the window in our room was open, there was no noise from the busy street or construction. We selected this hotel because it offered air conditioning but it was not working and the room was warm. We stayed four nights. Overall a good experience.
