We drove from Albury to Mt Gambier overnight, arrived 8am had room booked but we were early, explained we had driven overnight, the girl on reception told me she would ring me as soon a our room had been cleaned, book in time is 2.00pm she rang me at 10.30am and told me our room was ready

Great motel, would definitely stay there again. Reception were friendly and professional. Loved the pool, great shower. Walking distance to supermarket, shops and cinema.

We loved our stay at the Henty. Easy to get to and from the room, a EV destination charger made it easy for us to recharge and keep loving. The pool was a little old and dated but the kids loved cooling off. It’s in a great location, room amenities were ample and good quality and the restaurant delicious. Our neighbours were very noisy and up late but the beds were comfy that we managed to get a great sleep.

The room was dusty and dirty, hair on towels, cobwebs, holes and rips in curtain, could hear traffic from the highway as sliding door only has flick lock and glass isn’t double glazed. Gaps in door, allowing spiders etc to come in, thankfully found the fly spray. Staff were friendly. Other reviews say rooms being renovated but not sure if ours was one of them.

All was very well and one suggestion is if the rooms can be fully updated, it will make it perfect. Having said that the room was fine and we will stay again anyway.

Great place for 2 night stay, indoor pool was good, great breakfast at onsite restaurant,we ate there both mornings highly recommend breaky burger and granola bowl.

Good standard of cleaning within rooms. Staff seem nice. Outside of accommodation buildings and the pool area seem unkept. No sound proofing between rooms - the people next door kept us awake most of the night. Fine for an overnight stay.

Staff have been super friendly and professional both times I’ve stayed here. Rooms are a little dated and some things worn a bit but I don’t mind for the price paid. Only problem is with other guests being inconsiderate and talking loud late and their kids bashing on the door, this cannot be blamed on the henty at all.

All in all a great stay
Had. A great stay at the Henty. It recently had a facelift and looled classy and had a good homely feel with the car and restaurant on site. The TV remote was seriously annoying having poor range and intermittently not working. The pool was also freezing, heavy on chlorine and tired. Breakfast was delicious and the reception area immaculate with helpful reception. The cleaners were also lovely especially the Columbian dude. All in all a great stay

Fabulous location. Lovely to see the wildlife so close to the accommodation. The views were great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were a good size. The Views Restaurant at the Hotel was lovely. The lady looking after service was wonderful and the food was excellent.
