This property shouldn't even be an econo lodge. It is dirty, in poor condition and I don't believe my shower was even cleaned before we arrived because there was old soap in the shower and the shower curtain was filthy. We came from a far and got there at about 11 pm, but if earlier I would of taken the loss and got other lodgings.

it is close to my job, the mall, and places i walk to. for frequent week-long stays, on my own dime; it is the best choice if you are not impressed by a fancy library or breakfast (there are plenty of good breakfast choices near by).

You Get What You Pay For!
The breakfast was minimal. There was bread to toast but no butter. The bathroom was very cramped. I paid for two rooms for two nights. The second room shower knob was broken so my son could not take a shower. I had to call to get my deposit back after almost a week. Most hotels hold the deposit and do not debit your account. Be sure to take pictures of the room upon vacating and turn in your room key so there is no reason for them to keep your deposit. It made me feel as if the deposit is another revenue stream for this family-owned business. They said I would have gotten my deposit back if it were cash but I wonder how they would return cash after the fact? Otherwise, the beds were pretty comfortable. I do not think I will choose to stay at another EconoLodge in the future.

It was truly the nastiest place ever stayed or tried to stay. I had to leave and go find another hotel which cost mean additional $300 I’m very upset for hotel.com having this place listed.

This place was extremely dirty and smelly. Musty &moldy. The photos that Expedia has online DO NOT MATCH what we saw in both the lobby and room. Completely deceiving on either Expedia’s fault or the property owners. When we turned on the heater, a disgusting smell came out of it. I asked for a refund, and neither Expedia or the property owner complied. I realize it was non refundable, but when you see photos online about what the property SHOULD HAVE BEEN, and it CLEARLY WASN’T, I believe a full refund would have been appropriate. Do NOT STAY HERE.

The staff were very friendly. They had heavily accented English but were understandable. The facility itself was clean and had all of the extras you might want: ice machine, refrigerator, microwave, TV, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Because it is an older facility, it smells old and the decor is dated. But for a place to sleep that is clean and not expensive, this is a good place to go.

This is a very cheap motel, so you get what you pay for. The room and motel itself smelled so bad. The toilet and sink were both plugged up. I booked the room through Expedia and when I checked in they said they needed a $50 deposit. When I give them my card they charged me full price of the room and a $50 deposit. I went back to the front desk and advised him that the room was already paid for through Expedia. He said “Yes I see, I will reimburse your card but it will take about a week to show in your bank”. I still haven’t received any of the money back.

Reluctantly booked this hotel because it was the only place in town that still had a vacancy and we were in town for a WVU football game. Paid $197 for a room that was absolutely filthy. The bed literally had dirt in it and the bathroom was covered in hair. We immediately left, returned our key and had to drive home. I'm currently seeking a refund. I NEVER right bad reviews. DO NOT BOOK.

The rooms were completely filthy. Hair, glitter, and trash in the room. Dirty bedsheets. We Left immediately. We will be filing a complaint with them, the better business bureau and the attorney general.

We had to make a cash deposit. The shower was gross. Ask for clean towels and didnt get any. You had to keep breakfast in the dining area or they said thry would charge 25 dollars. It was just a not friendly place to be.
