We came straight from Ottawa, through the horrendous downtown Montreal traffic (two lanes? one lane? Oui!) and came to this beautiful hotel. The staff were quite friendly but we were blown away by the room. New furniture, beds, flatscreen TV, an iMac to use, and the bathroom was clean and kinda cool looking too.
Even though we only stayed for one night, it was well worth it. We didn't eat there for breakfast, mostly because we wanted crepes.
My four night stay at the Chateau was terrific. Upon arrival, I was greeted by three very friendly and helpful girls behind the desk. They were full of ideas of how to spend my time..... and just plain fun. My room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Housekeeping was detailed and attentive. I did not have an opportunity to eat in the hotel this trip, but the restaurant and bar was well attended. I'm sure the food continues to be very good. I had a great little vacation!
A perfect spot for diners and jazz lovers. Clubs and restaurants abound in this centrally located, inexpensive little gem. Not fancy, but has everything you need. The rooms are smallish and immaculate. The built-in kitchenette is just right for warming up local restaurant leftovers! The staff is charming and helpful. We were two couples in two rooms and we were all equally pleased. I want to stay here again and again!
The pool was a big hit with everyone, beds and rooms very comfortable, breakfast could have been better. I am a diabetic so was limited to what I could eat, a nice addition could have been eggs as was lacking proteins. Friendly and helpful staff
