The on site restaurant is excellent as are the restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. In addition, the place is across the street from the beach. Finally, the price is extremely competitive. "We stayed in Montevideo for a week as part of a longer vacation. This hotel is close to shopping, dining, and the beach. Everything about the hotel was excellent. You don’t need a car as Uber is readily available and reasonably priced. Even though this is an upscale neighborhood, you do need to be cautious."

"We stay often at the Palladium. The location is great in the Buceo neighborhood — walkable to the rambla, Montevideo Shopping, lots of restaurants. Uber and taxis are easy to get. Centrally located to easily jump to or from the airport or Tres Cruces bus station or Ciudad Vieja or elsewhere in the city for business or leisure. The property is a little tired but the beds are comfortable, has nice pool, decent breakfast and reasonable prices."
