My husband and I came to this resort for our one year wedding anniversary and had a mediocre stay. Excellence Oyster Bay is a nice, but poorly maintained resort with hit or miss quality in service. Overall, I expected a lot more from a luxury resort—especially at this price point.

I have just returned from my stay at the Excellence Oyster Bay. While the grounds were beautiful, make sure you dont stay during rainy season because mosquitos were a very big issue. The food could have been better, upkeep of the room could have been better, they need to update a few things, i.e., sliding door handle was a bit rickety and drawers in the bathroom were crooked. There was a bit of litter on the side of my private pool that was cleaned on the last day. It was from a previous guest. The beach was amazing and the staff A . Very very sweet. Overall I dont regret staying here but would not come back.

This property is truly EXCELLENT! The staff is friendly and helpful and so knowledgeable. You can ask the cleaning crew about reservations and they will be able to give you accurate information or promptly direct you to someone that would be able to help. The evening entertainment was phenomenal! The food was great. We did the hibachi with Chef Dwayne and that was so good. This is a top tier resort and I can fully under why they are #1 in Jamaica.
