I was on the 5th Floor. It felt like a sauna! I turned on the "fan" (didn't see an A/C option) and set it to 72, then 70, then 65..I could barely tell a difference. The staff were nice and helpful with checking in and out. Breakfast was better than I expected from a hotel.

When we checked in, I had two double beds because I ordered through Expedia a third-party. They said they had oversold their rooms so I had to go with a king bed and a couch. Not happy next could not cool down the room. It was hotter than hell in there, lotta money spent for not getting anything we wanted

The space is great with the suites if you hold that it is a 60 yo building. With an early Spring, it was quite warm and they cannot switch to air until May. With the windows open, the room was good to sleep in. The wifi was great and the staff very helpful. The location was very good to get to places in town with walkable restaurants nearby.

We recently reserved a room for approx $300 a night. The beds were quite uncomfortable, the property was only able to 'heat' the room at this time of year so the suggestion was to turn off the thermostat and open the windows to help cool the room. So we could not control the temperature and could hear all the noise in the streets all night long. Also with such a high rate of reservation parking should be included in the hotels parking ramp as part of your stay.

The heater would not turn off. Talked to the front desk and their fix was to open the windows. The hotel is located downtown Minneapolis, its a very loud area, I like to fall asleep to a fan, not cop sirens and squealing tires. Also the parking at and around the hotel was super inconvenient.

Overall was a great hotel. Very clean, staff was very friendly amd welcoming. Only complaint was our room felt like a sauna when we got in it was 80º or hotter when we got in there and couldnt get air conditioning to work, had to open the windows in the room to get it to cool down.

We reserved a room with 2 queen beds and were only given 1 bed. The room was hot and stuffy the entire weekend despite turning the air down to 60 and having the windows open. Everything seemed dirty and run down, very disappointing for a Doubletree, usually they're reliably clean and well kept. I would not stay here again.

The hotel served its purpose for the few hours we needed it to sleep. It was a clean hotel and staff were good. However our room's thermostat was on the opposite end of the room than the bed so it was hot the whole night. Be aware that when you stay there and park onsite, they will charge you $30! A little ridiculous if you ask me.

They did not clean our room nor did they bring anything for the second day so I had to go down to get toilet paper, coffee etc. They said they had a staff shortage. Also, there wasn’t any ice in the machine on my floor. Finally, I left something in the room and have called 4 times and left messages and they still haven’t called me.

It’s a decent place to stay. The rooms need a deep cleaning. It just wasn’t the quality I was expecting. On the other hand the staff couldn’t have been any kinder or welcoming so for that I’m looking past the not so clean room.

We only stayed one night so didn’t complain but really should have. The hot water faucet was stripped and had to push down and turn to get hot water. Toilet was iffy if it would or wouldn’t flush had to lift the lid and have it fill and then try again to flush. Room was so hot!! Had it set down to 60 but never cooled off and made sleeping horrible. Went to take a shower to cool off and someone else’s long hair was on the shower wall. Very disappointed for a Doubletree HH property.

The room was good but cold the bathroom toilet barely flushed morning staff was really good with getting things done if you needed help. Night shift was rude and didn’t help most the time was on there phone in front of guest waiting at the desk.

The layout of the room was nice, very comfortable. The bed was not made properly, there was no fitted sheet on the bed. There were blood stains on the mattress cover (EXTREMELY DISGUSTING!!!!) The soaps were not fully stocked along with the coffee and other things around the room. The website stated that there was a pool, hot tub and sauna. Once my husband and I arrived we were informed that there was none of that at the hotel. We were disappointed.

Comfortable and Convenient
This hotel was in a great location for our outing to the Vikings game. The staff were very friendly and even though they were busy (sold out), we were able to check in prior to 4:00. The lobby, halls, and elevators were all very clean. Our suite was nice and comfortable. There was food still in the fridge from another guest which I'm guessing is due to their quick turnaround time with the crowds.

This hotel ruined my memories for Hotels. It was nasty , disgusting, Filthy they didn't clean our room from day we checked in until the day we checked out. We even requested the rooms to be cleaned and they didn't even bother. They left our rooms open and not even clean. We had to change some of the sheets because they had blood stains and big brown spots. We had to vacuum our rooms 12:00am with a broken vacuum. I would not even let my enemies stayed at this double Three . The carpet was nasty that we had to have socks on at all times and throw them away because how brown they were. The elevators and lobby both smelled weed. There were so many teenagers and young people that they were smoking in the elevator and hallways. I only stayed there because it was close to the hall were my brother was having his wedding and we were too many that I had no time to look for a hotel, but I wish that I left the first day. I had three rooms my sister had two rooms and small kids. People were checking out left to right. They only had two employees one security and on for front desk. One the employees cried when I brought them sheets and billows that was in our rooms. I have pictures I emailed the two so called managers they have. I even talked to Dustin in person and he told me to Expedia.
