We love going to the Indigo. As usual, it was clean and the bed was nice. The staff was decent as well.
The reason why I am not giving a higher rating is because there was construction going on in the parking ramp so it was dusty on the way in. We were also in on a floor where there was a lot of doors being slammed and you could hear people walking around upstairs so it was really hard to sleep with all the excessive noise which was a bummer.
This hotel was beautiful. Hotel staff were very friendly and we got daily texts asking how our stay was going. The hotel restaurant is very good too. Our only complaints are the hotel is very loud, sounded like people were bowling upstairs, so light sleepers beware. The other issue is parking, it is very expensive for their parking ramp and not free even though you are staying there. But besides that it is very clean and rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and a great vanity area with lighted mirror for the ladies!
Parking wasn't easy to find, ended parking in another ramp which the hotel told us to just stay parked and use that ($50 parking fee from 1:00pm-9:45am!!) the room was okay, the shower seal was falling off bottom of the sliding door BUT when went to take a shower it ran cold, left it running for 10 minutes and still cold. I called the front desk she said "oh that's because the maintenance guys are currently working on it so it's just cold" like are you kidding me!! For a room that's over $200 cold water and no breakfast included. Terrible
Very friendly staff, good service, restaurant in the main floor a plus if you don't want to walk outside, the parking a bit confusing, but not too bad, the first room we got had the toilet seat off, so they gave us a different room.

Easy check in, was offered a cheap upgrade option (worth it for valentines)! safe location that’s locked after 10:00 and extremely quiet!

It was a nice room, but I was convinced to pay an extra $10 for a room that was considered an upgrade. This “upgrade” was nothing special at all. It was said to be a city view, and I sure got a nice view of the buildings directly surrounding to hotel. Then I was told that parking is not included in the stay. I paid an extra $30 to park in the ramp connected to the hotel overnight. I wouldn’t have chosen this hotel had I known that I would have to pay for overnight parking in a ramp.

Thanks for your feedback, Bethany. I can understand the frustration on both accounts; the upgrade and the parking situation. While I apologize for the misunderstanding around the room upgrade, we are in a very large downtown area and most of our surroundings are tall buildings. With regard to the parking, we could not be more transparent about this. It is on our website, on our Expedia booking page, and discussed at check in. I would encourage you to look further into the hotel you’re at which you’re staying for details like this. While you had some frustrations with your stay, we appreciate you spending some time with us. We hope if your travels bring you back to Minneapolis that you will stay with us again.
Mid-century modern design was very unique and fun. Had to ask for a different room because the first one smelled like dog urine, but the 2nd room was fine. Parking ramp has very low clearance and tight corners: don't bring a pickup or large SUV.

Great location in downtown Minneapolis. We spent one night, had supper at nearby Hell's Kitchen, went to a musical at the Orpheum theater, and had a great breakfast in the morning at the hotel restaurant - Star Bar & Bistro. Close to so many things and the service was great.

We love this hotel. It’s our second time back. And i will come back every time I’m in Mpls. Spacious, clean, friendly staff. My only complaint is no hot tub. But the pros outweigh that. Self Parking is $38/night with tax. Which is pretty average for the city. I like that the elevator in the garage goes right to the hotel floors. So no need to go thru the lobby.
Restaurant and bar were exceptional and the staff there were amazing as well. Pretty average prices for food in the city as well. Not cheap, not expensive. The espresso martini is my favorite!! Soooo good

The hotel and rooms were clean. But the room smelled like cat urine and the heat blew out so hot and we couldn't get the room cooled down.
Also, the parking ramp only has a 6.5 clearance. If you drive a large SUV or truck you may not fit. And there is no other parking close by.
