Arrived at 730 pm to check-in, told us there was “water pressure issues”, but the issues would be resolved by 10 pm. Front desk associate told us and a couple others in the lobby that we were could check out with a refund and go elsewhere. We said we’d just check in if the water would be turned back on, she assured us twice that it would be by 10. By 1030, still no water and no guarantee of when it would be back on. So we checked out, she said she approved the refund and that hotels.com would be made aware of our refund. It’s now almost a week later and hotels.com still cannot get ahold of management here. We’ve called several times, talked to multiple people and now have a case open with corporate. How can they expect people to stay there when they couldn’t even FLUSH THE TOILET?! Handing out free bottled water in the lobby was definitely not a solution to this problem! And don’t “approve” a refund and then not take the steps to assure the refund is actually given!
