Average stay, beds need uodating as springs in mattress were on thee way out. Generally ok but could do with an update. But fair price for an okay nights sccomodation

A wonderful welcoming stay in Milton. A very clean, spacious, comfortable accommodation. Only wish we could have stayed longer!!!

Milton stretches a long distance along Hwy 1. There is no central CBD and the motel has only a supermarket and takeaway near to hand However for an overnight stop this has to be rated top class.

Competed the 88km ride from miller’s flat. The motel is in great location to everything that u would need for a stay. I fully recommend to one and all. Will stay again.

First time we had stayed in a Motel and of this was anything to go by I would do it more often. It looked good in the photos, in reality it was even better. Both rooms we booked were so big and very very clean. It was lovely that we were given a fresh bottle of New Zealand milk. We needed to do some washing and had waited until after our meal. We decided to go for a walk whilst it was washing and had turned off the lights in the laundry room. Wgen we got back it was locked, we went to the office to see if we could get said washing, not only did he come and unlock it he went and got his airer so that we could dry the washing over night rather than us having to sit up whilst it went in the drier. Next morning he gave us lots of tips on where to go on our drive back to Christchurch. He was the most genuinely nice guy you could meet

One of the rooms was supposed to have had 2 single beds and didn't and we had to get the stretcher bed ourselves as they didn't have one made up. One of our family members forgot a bag and the person at the reception was extremely rude when my husband went to pick it up.

The room was 2 meters away from a main hwy. Trucks all night, bed was old and hard. Room was clean. The front unit 5 needs AC so when its hot you dont have to leave widows open and be keeped awake with road noise.

We've stayed here twice after concerts. This is a great place to stay when you can't find accommodation in Dunedin and don't want to drive all the way back to Invercargill or Central Otago.

Lovely and clean bed was comfortable lots of space chairs were large and comfortable oved the little bottles of milk shower was awesome toilet was a bit wobbly all up a great experience will definitely be coming back

I’ve stayed at this motel a few times now. The owner is a friendly chap and makes you feel welcome. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

It was a good place to stay overnight.Clean ,Had a full kitchen and supplies.The town was pretty deserted.Not much choice for dinner or to get supplies.

Thank you for your comments. The staff at ASURE St John's Court Motel take pride in the presentation of our motel and try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The position of our motel makes us a good central point to explore Dunedin,Southand Central Otago. Unfortunately our two grocery shops close at 8pm and with only one Restaurant open after 5pm the options for dining are limited.

noisy because of road very close . would need double glazing no hair dryer the secon unit didn’t have a night table and the bed was close to the window which is not good for the person who is on that side !

Useful break in trip
Milton is well-placed for a stay on the north-south route on the east side of South Island. The motel is good w=quality and close to a restaurant.

Well run and presented. Staff v helpful and friendly. If you get the unit by the road there are no privacy screens and should be.
