The lobby and dining room are nice and recently renovated. The halls and rooms a little less so but still okay. Breakfast was good. Very friendly staff

Our room was comfortable but could have been a bit cleaner. The room walls needed a good scrubbing. Staff was very helpful with dinning suggestion.

The hotel was ok. A little bit run down - the paint in the hallways was very sloppy, and the carpeting was very faded in one area. I dropped something in front of the desk in the room, and when I bent down to pick it up I found a pair of someone's dirty underwear hanging from the plug in the wall. gross! Shower was just a trickle. However, the several staff members I encountered were all very kind, upbeat and helpful! the breakfast was nice!

Thank you so much for your response. The painting in the hallways has been addressed. As to the carpeting, the one section of carpet is actually not faded but focuses primarily on the grey rather than the blue.I am so sorry about the findings of the room, but we look forward to your next visit!

First time staying in a hotel that had solid floors vs. carpet, and the ceiling was painted bricks. Was not very cozy or welcoming. Bathroom seemed run down/had some spider webs in the corner and there were weird water noises coming from the pipes/walls all night that never stopped. Not very loud water noises, but you could hear them every time you were in the bathroom. It got the job done but would not stay here again. Staff was generally pretty nice besides front desk staff checking in someone else under my name on accident before I arrived (the manager fixed this issue thankfully and I was not double charged).

We are sorry for the experience you had at our hotel. We do have the vinyl tile on our second floor, but we do have carpeting on both our first and third floor. The other issues with the room are things that have been addressed if they can be. We are an older property, so some noises are to be expected and the fan in the bathroom does run all the time.I am glad we were able to correct the check in problem without further issues.We hope you will stay with us again and give us a chance to improve out rating with you.

I guess it’s my fault but was far from Penn State (again I knew this before booking). WiFi problems day one but was resolved the day after. Overall though, was good. I didn’t spend too much time there as I was there to visit psu (most of my time was there). But sleep was quiet and cold (i like cold rooms). I’d say 8/10

Staff was awesome, very kind & polite. However, be aware that the property hasn’t been updated since the 1980s. It was as clean as they could make it, just shabby and not in a chic way.

Rather cold night outside and it took a very long time for the room to heat up to a comfortable level. Heater fan is very loud

The hotel rooms are cosmetically deteriorated. The furniture was not clean. The beds are old and uncomfortable. The frames squeak when you move. The lobby was cold with no heat. The breakfast was terrible. There was hair in the pancake mix. The juice was warm with no ice. When we checked in the person who checked us in was smoking in front of the hotel.

Everything was fine except the hallways and breakfast areas were freezing cold. Pity for desk employees having to dress like Eskimos!

I'd definitely stay here again
This property wasn't fancy and the breakfast wasn't as good as Hampton but the people were super nice and helpful, everything was very clean, and the price was very reasonable.

I can’t really give a full review of the facility as I was only there for one day. You can tell the certain parts of the hotel were dated (old carpet, marks on the tiles, etc. However, the room was well-kept and the bed and pillows were soft. Breakfast in the morning was fine. Selection/variety was good when it came to the food and drinks.
