The review is actually for the adjacent Novotel, as we were relocated there as ibis was closing. The staff at the ibis desk were very helpful, explaining the situation and arranging the relocation to Novotel even with early check in. The Rooms in Novotel were good size and comfortable. The outdoors swimming pool was and added bonus during the heatwave. The desk staff at Novotel were very helpful and attentive. The Metro line is a short walk away. There was a good restaurant nearby.

Title: Terrible Stay at Ibis Hotel - A Mosquito-Infested Nightmare Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Our stay at Ibis Hotel was a complete disaster. The first room had a leaking bathroom ceiling, torn curtains, and swarms of mosquitoes. The second room had a broken air conditioner. Despite relocating to a third room, the mosquito problem persisted, forcing us to leave at 5 am. The hotel's poor maintenance and inability to address basic issues made for an utterly unpleasant experience. Avoid at all costs.

Really nice surburban hotel 10mins walk from Ca Grande metro station which is about 30mins from the centre of Milan (Duomo) with 1 change. Quiet, clean, easy, no complaints. Standard Ibis setup and quality.

Staff were all very nice and helpful. Our room however was at the back of the hotel that has a large concreted area with nothing in it. In the evenings and late into the night there were large groups of people hanging around playing music and generally being loud. Even with the window shut it was still very loud. The hotel rooms are very basic so no tea/coffee facilities to use and the beds are pretty flat with one pillow but overall clean and tidy.

It was my worst stay. Lots of noises at night time. Didn’t feel safe walking in the evening. Nothing around the hotel at all to pass a few minutes. Only good thing was the staff who was always helpful. Breakfast was limited. Sorry it’s not for me.

We only use this hotel as it is close too the hospital for my son's 6 monthly visits. It's a bit rough and the rooms are small. This time it took 2 changes to get a room that didn't have broken window but they didn't update the system and someone walked into the bedroom whilst getting ready for a bath!

Comfortable Hotel, North of the Core
I had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Ibis Milano Ca Granda. Like with other Ibis properties, the service was good, breakfast was filling and the rooms were clean comfortable. The only caveat is that it's not quite at the historic core so it will take a little more time to go where you wanted. Overall, though, I was happy with my choice.

Common areas downstairs were good, clean and modern. The rooms are a bit more dated, but nothing broken or dirty. The area has really no options for food/drinks and instead you need to take a tram in to the centre of Milan

Fantastic hotel. The restaurant is amazing. The staff were so helpful and free parking on site was great. Good value for money. Slightly out on location but easy to get into the centre on the metro.

Room and bathroom look more like what you would find in a hospital or long care nursing home . String in the shower to pull when you fall and CANT GET UP Drain in bathtub was plugged so water went down very slow and the toilet was broken and kept running keeping me awake all night . Told front desk but was not fix for my second night in the nursing home At least this Ibis was not as bad as the one I stayed at in Paris it was fashioned after a prison cell . There is nothing luxurious or romantic about this hotel hopefully the designer has been committed to a mental hospital and is not still designing hotels that torture guest

Firm bed tho excellent coffee!
Service food and location was perfect for me and the staff fantastic. My only concern was the bed was a firm foam rather than a sprung mattress so I didn’t find it very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing as I was only expecting continental plus the coffee was incredibly good and lots of it! Yes I highly recommend

Good Hotel Nice Location but Noisy
It is a good hotel but very noisy in evening and night due to lot of people gathering and making noises behind hotel. AC does not work as expected and it can be very hot in night. Breakfast is ok and does not have more options and not worth the price. Staff is good and friendly and location is close to Metro station. Rooms are clean and tidy. Overall ok to stay.

I stayed here with my 9year old son, it was an excellent price with it being just outside of milan centre and very close to the metro which was easy to find your way around the city. The only downside would be the location, a lot of teenagers congregated at the back of the building at night which made it noisy up until gone midnight, it was also close to a train station so the trains was also noisy but that being said most of the time we was so shattered from all the walking we had done in the day after a while we passed out regardless.

Stayed for two nights at this hotel with my wife. We used it as a base to explore Milan and found it the perfect location and good value for money in comparison with some of the more central Milan hotels. It is located a five minute walk from the metro system which provides an efficient ten minute ride to the city centre. The reception staff were friendly and the hotel clean. The breakfast was generally a basic continental. The only moan I would have is that breakfast stocks needed replenishing a little quicker however this did not detract from the overall experience. A kettle in the room would always be nice, but we knew there wasn't one when we booked, so can hardly complain. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Our stay in this hotel was fine. You have to walk a few blocks to get to the metro and then to the city. The whole area is a bit dark at night, so the best idea is to walk during daylight if you plan to use the metro. They need to add more lights to the surrounding area of the hotel.
