Run down, Basic, Mostly Clean. PROs Parking free Price lower than others CONs -Very Basic -Small w tiny bathroom -Noisy, can hear people walking & talking in adjacent rooms -Clean if you ignore rust and the grime in the books and crannies -wifi doesn't work, no tmobil connection

I arrived very late in the evening. The surrounding area was safe and quiet. The room was stuffy as i opened the door, mainly because of cleaning detergents. The smell subsided soon after i opened the windows. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The furniture were a bit worn down but i was not bothered by that since the bedding and everything else was clean. The bathroom was clean and amenities provided. There was a microwave and fridge. Unfortunately there were no utensils to make use of that. It would be nice for a mug and plate to be provided. It would make a huge difference to tourists. Just this small detail. I did ask for a mug but i was asked to check the following day when the owner was there ..our paths did not cross since i had an early start of the day. They provided complementary coffee and donuts, which was a nice touch. They accommodated me by agreeing for me to check out at 11:30 instead of 11:00. There were no additional charges. It is also close to the beach and bus stops. All in all i had a good stay. Just you should know what to expect before booking and it depends really on the purpose of your visit.

This place is reminiscent of “Fawlty Towers” - the cast of hotel characters is laughable. That said, I woke up in the middle of the night drenched from a hole in the ceiling pouring water onto the bed. The “crack staff” pulled the bed over and put a bucket under the nonstop drip (a few inches an hour). The hotel staff had a very dismissive tone when I said you can’t rent a room in that condition. No reduction in room rate and charges $10 per bag to hold once checked in or checking out. Great location but you can do better - unless you are looking to write a hotel-based sitcom.

We were early for checkin but was surprised that lady at desk asked for fee for luggage storage. Nowhere does it list fee so did not expect that and don’t believe it was valid.

Very unique hotel in a beautiful, safe area very close to the beach, walking, dining, busy but safe. Older but unique hotel with excellent staff, let us check in 3 hrs earlier and let us check out late by 3 hrs as well. Very accommodating, well priced for the area we were staying in. Highly recommend.
