The property itself wasn't bad. Excursions and rentals are available in the lobby. The restaurant served an amazing Bloody Mary and the food was decent. It’s right off the beach, which was a plus. My balcony had an ocean view with great sunrises. I stayed once before, which is why I booked again. Please note, check-in was long for no reason, with bad communication. Velvet is slow, so go down ahead of time during peak hours or if you are on a schedule. They actually misplaced our car and we waited for 30 mins. Room 603 (3 beds) was the worst. There were gnats in the shower when we first arrived. The shower water was cold because the hot water was very low pressure, and the toilet shot water out every time you flushed. Literally, I was sprayed with toilet water. I won’t go back.

The toilet in my room did not work I complaint someone came and check it out and it still does not work for the entire time that we were there. We had to use the plunger each time we went to the bathroom. In addition the valet parking was horrible as there were several stretch marks and dents my vehicle. When I try to speak with the gentleman he was unable to contact us supervisor and gave me a sheet of paper for me to fill out for a complaint. I ended up paying for those damages.
