I used to live in the art deco district, and I wanted to go back to see my old stomping grounds. Don't bring a car to this area of the world. South Beach is a 15x15 Street area that you do not want to drive in. You do not want to find parking here. You do not want to pay for parking here. If you are going to South beach, take a taxi from the airport to South Beach and figure out other transportation options once you get there. The staff is so friendly and wonderful. This is a booming tourist fun area, so you're going to hear cars and you're going to hear the parrots outside fighting and you're going to hear people on the street. But our room was in the back and it was very quiet. The beauty of South Beach is that you don't want to stay in your hotel room. You want to go outside and have a coffee or go to a Cuban restaurant or walk to the beach or look at the phenomenally beautiful art Deco architecture everywhere. You will meet people from all over the world who just want to have fun. It's such a beautiful place, and the Chesterfield gave us all of the old fashioned art deco charm. Make the most of your setting. This is a perfect hotel for someone who wants to be active every single hour that they are awake. We visited museums, we sunned and swam, and it was one of the best weekends I've ever had.

The only suggestion I will say to put a stand-up mirror in every room we are visiting and we would like to see ourselves full body when we get in ready to go out. And everything will be perfect. 😉Ty

WiFi provided on the welcome letter was not working. Luckily I have my own phone data, so I can use the Internet. Refreshment in the fridge was okay, other than having alcohol and energy drinks, would appreciate if there’s bottled water. My room was on the first floor, the lobby bar has some nice music, but goes late into the night. If you sleep early and are assigned on the first floor, be ready to get noise until a bit late into the night. Besides being very close to the beach, having convenient access to nearby stores, bank, restaurants and bars, it’s an okay price point for the room

This property should be adults only as they play loud music until 3AM, drinking, and hookah smoking right as you enter and bar/lounge seating close to check-in desk. Good spot for adult who go to bed late and party, not for family.

Bathroom, dirty hallway, smell, like a lot of smoke. Bedroom door did not have latched to latch so no one coming in our room Jacuzzi tub was real dirty, scratched and horrible bed falling apart door to get in and out the hotel barely work no parking, dirty, stank, horrible hotel.

My room was not actually inside the hotel but in side building. To access my room there was no elevator and the entrance door was external. It was very noisy and I found some hair on the floor and on the bed.

Staffing was never friendly, showed constant attitude. They had a leak in the bathroom/shower (water coming from upper level appt) which I asked them to fix it or change the room. They said they will fix it. Two days later I was getting ready to take a shower, the leak continued again. It’s very nasty to get used shower water by other people fall on you. The staffing acted as if I incovenient them with my issue. I would never stay at that place ever again.

It was nice to stay there for 2 nights and it was easy to walk around the beach within the distance except you could heard the walking and others talking through the room.

Take my word please don't ever go. Worst hotel experience in my life. They should change their sign as a motel or hostel. Not a hotel quality.

It is located in the heart of South Beach Miami Andy provided a great atmosphere. I loved the jungle hookah lounge they have in their lobby but it may have been the worst nights sleep. The pillows are nothing but air and provided no comfort in the least and to boot, the cleaning lady knocked on our door 30 minutes before check-out and 2 more times in the next 25 minutes. LEAVE ME ALONE WHEN I'M TRYING TO CHECK OUT AND GET NEW PILLOWS!!!

Staff was amazing (Shout out to Katie at front desk. She went above and beyond!) Great location to beach. WARNING: Lobby is not ADA accommodating so if you cannot do stairs do not stay here. There is one room with outside entry that can accommodate a wheelchair (and it is a lovely room). If you need accessible you must book it. NO OTHER ROOMS are accessible. HOTEL NEEDS TO INSTALL A RAMP!

Checkin day was good they give me an early check in ,the room was okay however no one came to our room to clean the next day , the 2keys never worked, I keep going to front desk to have them check it .. not only me other customers as well. The locked in yard have a gate with a code but somehow they have men selling weed and sleeping within that locked gate by the walkway to your room. The bathroom in the lobby same situation , went down there to use it before the airport and there was a guy sleeping in the locked space downstairs …imagine how scary that was for a woman to be down there locked with a “sleeping man outside your toilet. Bar and front desk staff was great but for safety reasons I will not be staying there again and having to wonder if someone would follow me to my room down the back where it was ..once gate is locked ain’t no way someone can help if u need them unless they have the code

The fact that this wasn’t a cheap hotel It really had me upset that my room wasn’t cleaned upon arrival and sheets had blood spots on them I stayed for 6 days and the last night i noticed bedbugs which is unacceptable so this experience will be the last time at this hotel I don’t recommend this hotel for no one

The room was amazing, easily one of the nicest I've stayed in. Huge bathroom. Nothing on Tv but i had my labtop so that didn't bother me. Staff was friendly with a lot of smiles. The area was safe and just a block off the beach. The only thing i would say is there was a leak from the ceiling light in the bathroom when the people took a shower in the morning. A little distressing but I would still stay there again.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you are a solo traveller as it felt quite unsafe in my opinion. I’m not very picky or critical in general but advertisement pictures make the hotel look more elevated than it really is. The room was decently clean, but had no wifi connection, very loud from outside noise, and started to smell strongly of smoke later in the night. The one good thing is the location.
