Quick overnight in Menaggio
The hotel stay was just what we needed. A quick walk to the downtown area (via sidewalks and stairs). But watch our for the relatively steep walk back. We had plenty of room, our car parked close, and a great view from our balcony. They have a great pool area as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The property is nice and clean. The pool was great. The staff was very friendly. There is definitely not air conditioning. The room was hot. I thought our room included the “free breakfast” listed on the hotel website. AFTER my family of 5 ate the breakfast we were informed that our booking did not include breakfast. It’s €15 per person. Definitely not worth the money. They should have informed us of the charge before we ate.

I like the location as it is in Menaggio which is the center . Easily accessible to go to VARENNA and Bellagio . Above all, the owner of Hotel Sonenga- Roger - is very kindhearted. We arrived late and he picked us up . All the staff in the hotel are very polite and kind . Room is very clean ; sheets are so white and the room is big . Breakfast is also great 👍 Stay in this hotel when you go to Lake Como . Perfect location to enjoy . From the balcony of our room we have a partial view of the lake which is nice . You can walk to the ferry station -it is a good exercise 😀 Ruby -USA
