Best Cabin Ever!
We had the greatest time being in this cabin for the eclipse. It’s cozy and quaint. It has many accommodations. It’s right next to the US Forest ATV Trails for off road vehicles. We even got to barbecue nice steaks. We will be back!

The place was hard to find & close to a lot of properties, once I did find it I found out I didn’t even receive the code to get into. I spent the money for a place I couldn’t even stay at , & I tried reaching out to the host didn’t get a response.

Loved everything about this place ! The beds were comfy and the fireplace was terrific and the couch was comfy ! The tub with jets was amazing ! The host was very responsive and very quick to reply back and was awesome also. When I come back to Mena someday , I know where I will be booking to stay again !

Quick Mommys' retreat
My best friend and i needed a quiet place to unwind and just relax without being needed and overstimulated. This was the most perfect getaway. Secluded but not too remote as there is multiple restaurants and stores within driving distance. We'll definitely come back.

Anniversary getaway
We enjoyed the cabin very much. If it would’ve been warmer weather, I’m sure we would’ve had some fires in the fire ring. It was a little challenge to find but after that everything went very smoothly. Cute place. Thanks.

Cozy, comfortable and well-equipped
The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was closer to neighbors than we had expected, but it was still very quiet. The host was easy to reach and very helpful when we accidentally blew a circuit. The surroundings were great, and we would stay here again.

My friend and I enjoyed the cabin space. The jet tub was definitely a bonus. Cabin was close to hiking trails, which we love to do. Highly recommend, especially for the price.

On the positive side: Pretty view of woods from windows, beds are very comfortable, water pressure and water temperature of shower is good; foosball set is fun, cabin is located near Mena. On the negative side: We had no communication with property manager, despite sending 2 messages. Back door lock is flimsy and should have a dead bolt; guidebook is outdated and we had to (for example)figure out the heating/Ac system (b/c there are various units) etc. ; front porch steps and rails are rickety and could use an outside entrance light; shower is EXTREMELY small. Pictures on line of back yard area is misleading. No outdoor strings of lights and from the back porch part of the view is of the RVs parked next door. The TV does not work because the Internet is sporadic. Installation of a booster would be helpful

Edwin, thank you for staying with us! I’m glad that you enjoyed most of your stay. I was surprised to hear that you had sent two messages that I never knew about, so I went searching to find them. After che cking voicemails, texts, texts on Airbnb, and emails I finally found your messages by email. I apologize for not seeing them. Important emails tend to get lost in the mix of so much spam. The best way to contact me would have been a phone call or a text. I also normally visit my guest once to meet you, but my kids were sick and I figured it was best to stay away. We live in a very safe area and never even considered a dead bolt on the back door. Thank you for the suggestion. The other areas that you mentioned in need of updating are on the list of things that I am working on, being that we have just recently purchased the business. As far as the spotty internet, our internet provider was having issues at the time and there was nothing that I could have done. I hope you do come again and enjoy the changes that we are continuing to make!

Nice little cabin , but could us some motion lights outside of the home. It gets very dark outside around the cabin, so it hard to see outside. The brush and woods needs to be cut back some away from the cabin. The cabin needs a Roku Tv that would pick up the internet that is provided at the cabin. But other then that the stay was awesome

Good for a weekend
Husband and I stayed for a weekend. It was a fine cabin for a short stay. The 2 person tub was nice and the bed was comfortable, the sheets were very nice.

Peaceful Retreat!
We were really impressed with the coziness of the property and how well it was supplied. The jacuzzi was great and the bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed relaxing on the front porch. I liked the setting in the woods, but some of the brush really close to the cabin could stand to be cleaned up. Overall a great stay!

Thanks for staying at Woodhaven. We are glad you enjoyed it. You are right that some of the trees and shrubs are needing cut back. They grow so fast here in our warm climate that I guess we got behind on trimming. We will have the gardener get right on it.

Superb Hideaway
We discovered this little gem when planning our recent getaway to the Ouachitas, and will say that we were very satisfied with what we found upon arrival. We had a great conversation with the owner who showed us around and made suggestions on local points of interest. The cabin was very well furnished and equally comfortable. We’re hoping we can return and stay for a longer period of time. This would be a great little place to just hangout and relax or just kick back and enjoy the surroundings

This cottage / lodge was a perfect retreat from from our day to day, and we loved how cozy it felt. The location is perfect, isolated enough to feel like a getaway, yet it's just 5-10 minutes from anything you'd need. The host was wonderful and made sure we had a great stay!

It was so nice to open the door and enter a lovely room with soft music playing and good smells. Deeper into the cabin all the space is utilized well. Our meals were a little complicated for the kitchen. Think simple. It has nearly everything you need. We loved the back deck watching birds and squirrels. The tub is just lagniappe to a sweet and well-managed cabin. Sorry I could only be there two days.

There were many little things about this place that made it worth the stay from the visit from the owner to give us a tour once we arrived to all the little notes that explained how to work the lamps and where to find items needed.

We were made to feel welcome from the day I booked this cabin. The space is small but has all the amenities. Lovely decor in a rustic atmosphere. Three paved miles south of Hwy 71 and downtown Mena, yet feels like it's buried in the woods. A nice place to come home to. Loved it.

Beautiful cabin & scenery
We loved the Woodhaven Cabin in Mena, AR. It is very homey feeling and very well-kept and clean. Carolyn was a great host and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. We loved exploring around beautiful Mena and visiting the antique stores and restaurants. If we ever visit Mena again, we would absolutely try to stay at Woodhaven Cabin again.

We loved it!
We (three sisters) loved it! Our little cabin in the woods made us feel like we were in the middle of nowhere, but we were just minutes from Mena. The place is so cute and cozy, well appointed and clean. We had everything we needed to feel right at home. The best part is Carolyn. She went way above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. She was there to welcome us and made sure she was just a phone call away if we needed anything. She also promptly mailed my phone charger that I’d forgotten. I’d be happy to recommend both the lovely cabin and innkeeper to anyone visiting Mena.

Picture perfect!
Wood-haven was as if coming into its painting. The lamp outside was cottage! Loved the forest, the flowers, and the mountain in the back yard. A comfortable home away from home. Enjoyed our stay. The Innkeepers were very hospitable.

Very quaint!!! You feel like you are deep in the woods.
This is a beautiful little cabin in the woods. It felt more like we were staying in a home than a rental because of all the extras that are available for you in this little cabin. We would definitely stay here again.

Woodhaven Cabin
We enjoyed our stay! The cabin is peaceful and relaxing; we felt like we were at grandma's house. Everything is very well kept and comforting. The yard space is not very large due to the woods and beautiful scenery but it is a beautiful and wooded yard. The hostess was very kind and has notes all over the cabin to assist with anything in the cabin; also, if you have any questions, she is just across the street or a text away. Our trip to Mena was relaxing!

Wonderful place. Wonderful host.
This place is absolutely wonderful. It's very cozy which makes it feel like home. There works of art by the owner scattered about the cabin that are very lovely. You can actually buy them, if you wish. The owner lives just next door, which saved us twice! The first time, I mistakenly went to the wrong cabin (she has 2, I think), it was around 10:30pm and raining quite heavily. She walked over to greet us and showed us the way to the correct cabin (yes, in the rain!). Then, the gas fireplace went out and we couldn't get it turned back on. So, we called her up the next morning and she zipped right on over to help us. This is an annual birthday trip we take for my boyfriends birthday. We hike the trails at Queen Wilhelmina state park and this is a short drive away. We definitely plan to come back next year.

Flawless
This cabin has had a lot of thought and care go in to making it comfortable for the guests. The queen bed slept very well. The furniture was big and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked well and everything in the cabin came with great instructions. AND the jetted tub was an enjoyed luxury! Thank you for putting together such a wonderful VRBO for your guests. You have a lovely place in a beautiful location!
