The pool area is nice, as is the upstairs area at the bar/restaurant. I enjoyed looking around the cultural centre (but wouldn't make a special trip). They do a feast and performance which I can recommend. The rooms are simple but charming with an outdoor bathroom (and holes in the thatched roof). Hot water is almost non-existent and there's no fridge or tea/coffee facilities. Staff are nice but can be very hard to track down, and don't rely on them (eg: I needed laundry washed, dried and returned and couldn't find anyone to get it back and finally when I did it was literally soaking wet - I had to pack it that way! I also arranged a lift to the airport at 5am but nobody was around when the time came). It's pretty good value for Vanuatu and the included breakfast is nice. The restaurant and bar are expensive in general though - like everywhere on the island for tourists. I did like my stay here but I think it's because I don't have high expectations.

Amazing atmosphere!
This was the best experience we have ever had on a holiday. The people were amazing and the location was amazing. We will definitely be coming back without a doubt. Perfect location within walking distance to amazing sights. A must stay!!

Very disappointed didn’t have a fridge , no tv , poor lighting couldn’t read a book ...internet very poor ... no a/c ... shower was always cold ... too expensive for what you got not worth the money ... won’t be staying there again ...

Très bon accueil, personnel très agréable, cadre superbe verdoyant et original en pleine nature. Propreté à revoir, mais rien de bien méchant. Certains personnels parlent français, ce qui facilite les choses.

Hôtel totalement atypique, tout est en bois, des sculptures partout. Surtout se promener dans le jardin, fait de sentiers, cases, pancartes et photos du vieux Vanuatu. C'est très instructif et très joli. L’hôtel est situé à 10 minutes à pied des cascades de Mélé, à ne pas manquer ! Le personnel est très sympathique et les repas de bonne qualité. Seul bémol, la literie et la salle d'eau, mais c'est un bon rapprot qualité/prix. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour un séjour hors des sentiers battus, je pense qu'il n'y en a pas deux comme ça !!!
