Great little place to get away
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this cabin. The property was just as advertised: comfortable, secluded, and well-appointed. It was a great spot to get away and close to trail heads in the park for hiking. Highly recommend!

Cozy Getaway
My four year old grandson and I enjoyed our stay immensely. Even though it rained during our entire stay, we still got out to Hocking Hills and had a nice hike around the cabin. We spent one day mostly in the cabin but my grandson found card games in the loft and we entertained ourselves with multiple games of Go Fish. I would like to return and explore the Park more.

We had such a relaxing time and enjoyed having a campfire so quiet and peaceful. The cabin is very welcoming and you feel at home. Just a great time!! And my Dutchie (gal pal doggie) enjoyed her little exploring adventures. Absolutely a great place!! Thank you so much!!!

Sister’s weekend
Hocking Hills region has been on my bucket list for a few years. When researching places to stay, I came across this little cabin named Hope. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. The little cabin has everything you need and is so serene and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect hideaway
If you are looking for the definition of peace, quite and off the grid, you have found it here. Not only is the cabin and surroundings amazing, the hosts were also amazing and accommodating in every way possible! Looking forward to our next trip :)

Secluded yet accessible, tiny, yet spacious cabin in the woods . Warm , cozy , everything is in order. Bathroom is huge ! Second floor loft is higgie!

Nice but a few issues
They said online that they charge extra for cleaning if it’s extremely messy. I was not impressed with the twin beds on the first floor that had dog hair all over them anything you had on the bed had to be washed and lint rolled. It was a total mess. The bed upstairs was just a mattress which they don’t tell you in the description, all they say is it’s a queen bed. They also didn’t even have a curtain or anything in the upstairs window. The first floor blinds don’t match and one of them was damaged to the point you could see in. If you’re planning on having a campfire you need to bring wood or cash it was $5 a bundle which i didn’t see in the description as well. Overall the cabin was nice the location was perfect. It was extremely close to hikes and was so peaceful and quiet all hours of the day.

Hi Joel, We are so sorry to hear about the cleaning issue! We can assure you This is NOT the norm for this cabin at all (see reviews). We have addressed the issue! Concerning the queen mattress up in the loft we did not state it was just the mattress in description as there is a photo of the loft. We have not had any complains prior to this I believe everyone understands it is a loft and putting a full size bed up there just would not be possible. No one has ever seemed concerned about there being no window treatment in loft as it is in the middle of the woods, however we will now be adding one. The first floor blinds are not all the same however they are all the same color. As far as one damaged we do allow pets and unfortunately people's dogs wreak havoc in a cabin when left alone. We are replacing that blind right away. There is wood available on premise for $5 a bundle as a convenience to our renters. However, all renters are welcome to any dead wood laying around as it is plentiful since you are in the woods. We simply ask that you do not cut any live trees. Again, I'm so sorry that you're stay wasn't satisfactory and we do appreciate your feedback so that we can make the improvements that are needed.

This cabin was great! In our opinion it was the best cabin in the place, very secluded, even from the rest of the other available cabins. It was within a short drive to the caves and attractions but also very quiet & beautiful. We visited the Le Petit Winery around the corner too!

Great Spot for a Getaway
This little cabin was the perfect stay for our 2-night getaway. It sits back, secluded from other properties with a great wooded view. Upon arrival we discovered the small personal touches from Connie and Rob to welcome us for my husband’s birthday! We had no issues with small visitors, we really only saw a few squirrels running out in the woods. The fire pit was great and we got use out of the grill on-site (it was nicely kept and very clean!). There was a small shed just a short walk up the hill to get more firewood ($5/bundle) when we ran out one night. Finally, the trip to Old Man’s Cave was about a 20 minute drive- not too bad for the privacy we got back at the cabin! Thanks for a great little spot!

We loved this little cabin! It’s exactly what a cabin in the woods should be. Tiny, but had everything we needed. Wi-Fi was excellent which is helpful in an area where phone service is spotty. Mattresses are soft, not supportive, so if you need something firm maybe this cabin is not for you. Connie, our host, was amazing! She made sure we had everything we needed.

The cabin is small, quaint, and has everything we needed for this stay. The cabin was clean and had running water. I was impressed by how hot the water actually was. I am a person who likes extremely hot water and it passed my test. The cabin is down a small hill and around a small bend. It has a fire pit and a small propane grill. There is a picnic table near the fire pit/ring. When I had the chance to go and explore the property I found several other cabins on it. Lots of property to go for a walk. This property/cabin seemed to be cared for. This property is great for a couple or with a child. Would definitely stay at this property site again if I am in the area. It was a great time for a sister's weekend. Oh, I almost forgot, it even has Wi-Fi(free) and a place to purchase wood on-site if needed. a great plus.

Great place, cleanliness a little lacking
The location is beautiful, tucked in under forest canopy. We really enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint is for having to pay a fee and for how soon people have to leave on their last day to allow for cleaning it doesn't seem like they spend much time getting it clean. I found previous people's trash, the kitchen sink had old food bits left behind, the shower was gross and I had to clean the little fridge out before I could use it.

Little cabin in the woods
Loved this little cabin in the woods. Getting there is part of the adventure! The Hocking Hills state park is close and great hiking trails. We decided we didn’t want to haul our camper for just a short weekend trip so renting this little cabin was perfect. The cabin is rustic but has the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Remember this cabin is in the woods so don’t expect a perfectly manicured house. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Mother/Daughter Trip
This was our first Mother/Daughter trip so it was just the 3 of us. The cabin was very small but perfect for us! I'm glad I double checked on the kitchen appliances so I just prepared our food at home so we just used the microwave to warm up (which was nice to not have to cook!). The communication was excellent and Connie answered all questions quickly! It was just a perfect get-away!

The cabin was very small but perfect for a weekend getaway. The only 2 issues were the satellite tv did not work and we ran out of hot water in the shower. The tv was no big deal as we did not go there to watch tv. But hot shower water would have been nice. Overall, a great place to stay and we do plan to go back one day.

Everything we needed, and a very enjoyable stay! Couldn’t figure out how to heat the place at first, but Connie was very responsive and got right back to me, so we were toasty in minutes. She sent me very detailed info when I first booked it…everything you need to know. Great hosts and we had a wonderful time on our 33rd anniversary trip!

A Cozy Cabin
It was a lot smaller than we thought, but it was still a quiet getaway. We did meet some woodroaches, so it was eventful! It was quaint and simple carrying the most basic of supplies. We were disappointed that the loft did not have a bed, but just a mattress on the floor. Overall, it had personality and we enjoyed getting away!

Great honeymoon stay
My wife and I had a great honeymoon trip in Hocking Hills and the cabin was a huge help to that! It was secluded enough for us to have our own space without being too difficult to find. The cabin was very comfortable and made for a great place to relax after a long day of adventures!

We feel there should be a disclaimer on website stating this one isnt for seniors or those with knee or hip issues. The stairs to the loft have risers too far apart (about 3") and the "bed" is just a mattress on the floor, not conducive to one with those issues to get up. I nearly fell down the stairs when getting up to bathroom & therefore spent the rest of our nights on the sagging daybed, of which the mattress should be replaced.

Jack, thank you for your feedback we greatly value our guests. We have changed the description in our main ad now to advise people that the loft may not be for everyone but that the daybed downstairs along with the trundle underneath can be brought together to create a king size bed for your comfort. We apologize that you did not find the mattress comfortable, we have recently replaced the daybed and trundle mattresses. Hill's Tranquility
There's a lot of winding roads getting there but well worth it. I heard the neighbors dog once in awhile through the woods but otherwise completely isolated.
