Great getaway
My husband and I decided to take a weekend away with the kids kinda last minute we booked this lovely cabin only two weeks in advance. It was close to a lot of awesome things we did and it was really quiet. They had bored games and an outside fire pit along with a gas fire place inside. All around great weekend away!!

We spent my husbands 45th birthday hiking and exploring the caves and couldn’t have had better accommodations! The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. The cabin was perfect!! We would definitely book again!

A mother's/wives getaway / bible study weekend
It was a very nice and cozy place. Even being close to the road, not much traffic and quiet. It was a much needed break for 4 very busy working mothers/wives. Kitchen was well stocked w cookware. I would definately take another trip there. The cabin and outside area was clean. There were lots of farely large spiders, but you are in the woods and that is to be expected. GPS does not give you exact location but management was very easy to contact. Wonderdul place.

Clean and cozy cabin. My children loved the staircase and the toys and games at the cabin. It was a great place to lay our heads after hiking. We enjoyed making s’mores at the fire pit and telling stories. What a great family getaway and making memories. We did not mind unplugging at all. We ended up having 3 adults and 2 children at the cabin. My only recommendation would be a few more standard coffee mugs. The owl shaped mugs are cute but awkward to use. We bought a couple souvenir mugs to drink coffee out of instead but I would definitely recommend this place!

Quiet place in the woods
Enjoyed our time here! Communication was good, property was as expected, lovely secluded setting- just what we like. Very easy access and comfortable digs. It’s a 40 minute drive to the Hocking Hills Visitor Center but it’s a pretty drive- lots to see in between.

So to start, if you are an outdoors person this cabin is great! this Cabin is amazing, gorgeous and the inside is well cleaned! ….BUT if you HATE spiders, I would book else where. Spiders all over the doors, the outdoor chairs, windows just everywhere. we couldn’t walk in and out of the door without another spider hanging or crawling.

Close to perfect
The family was extemely pleased with this place. It was cleaned, the kitchen was well stocked and the water pressure was far better than expected. The kids loved it. The staircase was their favorite...not the adults but we were fully aware of what we were signing up for. It was actually cozy and comfortably feeling. Highly recommend if you're really coming out to unplug. The drive to the major trails isn't bad either. Fun roads and great scenery. Thank you so much for what y'all provide! We definitely made some life time memories there. Greatly appreciated.

Very nice little cabin great location plenty of things to do and explore around the area only downfall no Wi-Fi there was four of us myself and my wife was the only one to have a signal the other two had no signal at the cabin and do not use the fire pit as it was falling apart Overall review four out of five stars had it had Wi-Fi there would be five stars

As soon as we pulled up to the cabin we were impressed. Beautiful property in the woods, inside the cabin was super cute and welcoming. Very clean with all kinds of comforts of home.

Cute, comfortable cabin for family of 5 with older children. Loved having so much privacy when out by the fire at night- just the sounds of nature. Great price and totally worth it if you don’t mind having to drive 30 minutes to all the tourist attractions. Would definitely stay again!

It was secluded which was nice and quiet. It was overall pretty clean. Beds were comfy. Wishing they had a few more things like tableware, baggies, tinfoil stuff like that. But overall it was super fun and cute. Would go again!

Great little cabin! Feels very rustic yet has all the conveniences of home and hands-down was best deal in town. Very clean and well-stocked with a lot of pluses we didn't expect - ie. phone chargers, entertainment center, kitchen stuff (pots, pans, casserole dishes etc.). If your visit is 4 days with 2 people might want to bring some extra trash bags & TP, only 2 of each are provided. As noted in listing, spiral staircase is a little sketchy, meaning narrow and kind of slippery. Enough so that being the clutz I am, I opted to sleep in bunk bed downstairs, in case of midnight bathroom run. Bunkbeds which are by the way, much larger & comfortable than they first appear. Slept great. As I said, this is BEST DEAL IN TOWN if you're looking for something cozy, with rustic cabin ambience, you can't go wrong. Highly recommended.

Cabin was exactly as listed. Clean and comfortable - the box of toys and games was a perfect touch. We were able to unwind at the end of the day playing games in the living room in front of the fireplace. Kitchen has all the basics for simple meals and the outdoor space is quiet and comfortable. Will definitely use again in the future.

Cabin was cozy, clean, and accurately depicted. Kitchen furnishings were minimal (no dishwasher and limited dishes), but we were able to make things work. Cable TV, games, and outdoor amenities (fire pit/picnic table) on hand were handy. No WIFI - as listed. We explored some of the attractions of Zalestic: Iron Furnace, Lake Hope, and Moonville trail/tunnel. All very close to the cabin and explored in one day. We would definitely recommend and return. :)

Quite weekend retreat
Nice off the beaten path cabin. Only complaint is that it was pretty cold when we arrived. The heat source that was on was set to 62. We turned it up to 71 but it did nothing. After lighting the the gas fireplace it took about two and a half hours to heat up.

Raging storms didn’t stop the show
Everything as advertised. I went with a few old college buddies to hike Ash Cave to Old Man’s Cave, arriving in the throes of some crazy rain and wind. We lost power that night and while we were away half a day hiking on Saturday. A third of the county lost it. Can only chalk that up to chance and the owner was gracious enough to look into it and get updates. It did not impact the fun we had in any major way. We made do with headlamps as a little lighting and it ironically we may have had better conversation all the more for it. As for the property, it is about a thirty minute drive to those caves priorly mentioned, but there are also so many attractions along the way in all directions. McArthur town is quaint but also has a good restaurant for us to visit Saturday. Local, good and cheap. Sleeping arrangements worked out well for four bigger dudes. It has tons of entertainment choices but we stuck to good ole fun and a fire on Saturday night in a nice pit a dozen steps from the house. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay here. The surrounding area is beautiful, the area is very remote but that’s what we were looking for. We found a few little gems in McArthur- breakfast at Mullin’s and a little coffee bar in town, that oddly also sold BBQ supplies! We will definitely stay again!

Nice cute cabin
Nice cozy cabin close to hocking hills. Everything was nice and clean. The only thing messy was the fire pit, I'm pretty sure it was just some kids who probably used it without permission because everything else was neat and tidy. I really loved the fireplace and warm cabin feel. Perfect for a little hiking trip and a nice place to come back and chill.

Great location
Perfect spot for our Hocking Hills hiking trip. Loved the fire pit great place to relax after our adventures. Great little pizza place less than 10 miles away. Only complaint not enough toilet paper lol. Two rolls 4 adults 4 days didn’t cut it. Would definitely stay again!
